Due to cold weather, just started putting our new gazebo up today. One piece was slightly bent/dented. Hopefully, won’t be an issue! So far, instructions are fairly simple. Will update as we continue. Will address water resistance and sturdiness on next update. UPDATE - We have worked "part-time" for 3 days, maybe 3-4 hours at a time putting this gazebo together. We are "older", so taking our time. The roof is definitely a challenge, and instructions could be better. So far very pleased with what we are seeing! More updates as we go. Well, finally got time to finish the gazebo. Roofing was a bit of a challenge. Not really liking the curtain slide channels. Seems REALLY tight to try and open and close drapes and netting. Supports that are behind the curtains have sharp edges at the top. Afraid they will cause rips in the curtains, if you do not go slow and are not VERY careful. Will have to put some type of tape/felt along the top to protect the curtains. One of the netting screens has the Velcro closures sewn on the the wrong direction. Will contact the company and request replacement on Monday. Have not had any rain yet, so can’t comment on water resistance. UPADTE - Contacted company regarding issues with a few pieces. The reply was very timely. They will replace defective items. A few things are being shipped from overseas, and was informed that it may take a bit longer to arrive. Received FedEx tracking numbers last night. Very easy to deal with. My only complaint would still be the curtain slide rails....could be better designed. Overall, still LOVE our new gazebo. Have not had any rain yet, so still curious about "waterproof". Would definitely recommend 2-3 people for assembly. UPDATE: Seems to be water/rain resistant. Had some pretty good storms/winds go through in the last few days. Just realized, that two of the privacy curtains have the Velcro sewn on in the wrong spot. So done notice Be until I tried to close ALL the curtains. Had to unhook the Velcro fro n around two of the base poles before I could zip. Not a huge deal for me, because I will make different Velcro cloth wraps that will replace the worthless little hooks that hold all the curtains to the pole/ legs. Overall, still very pleased. Just some design flaws. Customer service was very helpful and quick to respond.

It's definitely not a $4,000 gazebo/pergola but it's decent for what it is. It's fairly thin aluminum but once assembled it's plenty sturdy. I probably wouldn't trust it in a super high wind area, like a beach side property, but in a back yard that only gets moderate wind it should be fine. The mounting plates on the posts are thin and attached with just 3 screws on each one so it probably won't withstand a huge amount of lateral force. Assembly took me about 7-8 hours with the only help I got being holding the posts up while I attached them together. Definitely use a drill, m10 socket/crescent wrench, and an a frame ladder. It isn't difficult to put together, there are just a ton of parts. Be prepared for things to not align absolutely perfect and to need a bit of manhandling to get together, mainly the roofing. As a note, it comes with anchors for concrete/stone but you'll need to purchase your own lag bolts if you're installing it on your deck. *Update* After a decent rain it definitely isn't waterproof. My outdoor rug and patio furniture got a good soaking from water seeping in through the holes the roof bolts went through, as well as the gutter being inadequate for the water flow. If they had included rubber washers for the roofing bolts it would have been really awesome but I'll probably just go through and add a bit of sealant on the underside of each one since I don't want to get up top. As for the gutter, I'll have to figure out a good way to let it drain faster so it doesn't get overwhelmed.

This is a very sturdy product. The assembly took 2, sometimes 3, of us two days to put together (approximately 12 hours total) and found that we had to have patience when putting the roof panels on. All pieces are labeled, and directions are detailed as to which numbered piece is needed at each step of the process. However, for the roof panels, we found that when placing the panels in place, the directions said to wait to put the screws in after putting the roof panels in place, however, the panels started falling out - so we found that putting the screws in each side worked better for us. As for the curtains, be mindful of where the tie is located in relation to which side you put the 6 / 7 hooks on, as we had to take ours off / on several times before getting it right. We did contact customer service about the curtains, and their response time was great! Now that we have had the gazebo up for a couple weeks, we absolutely love it. We ended up hanging two fans in the gazebo to keep it cool on hot days, and added lights for ambience in the evenings. We had a big rain storm come through, and zipped the solid curtains shut, and saw that there was some water seeping through at the seams, so once my husband caulked the four seams at the gutters, everything has stayed dry. We love this gazebo, it fits perfect on our deck, and are looking forward to relaxing and enjoying this now that the hard part is done. :)

This is a very high quality product and you will not be disappointed once you get it put together plus it just looks great! Due to being an area of the country with extreme heat and high winds I was in the market to replace a canvas shaded pergola that I had a lot of problems with the wind moving it and the shade cover tearing. I did a lot of research in regards to the overall weight of this item and competitors and this was the heaviest one I found and once fully put together this thing is hard even budge. Only issue I had was when it arrived it had some small dents in the legs of the frame I noticed once I got it out of box that seemed to happen in transit, not extremely noticeable but noticeable none the less. I ended up contacting the seller and they without hesitation provided me a very generous refund. Overall it was a great experience and great product, highly recommend!

Dear MR.J

As a matter of fact, I bought a lot of outdoor gazebos but guess what. They all fall apart because of casual strong wind and some collapse because of heavy snow. This LAUSAINT hardtop gazebo is made with solid and sturdy metal. It came with 4 big and heavy packages and it claims to handle 2600 lbs of weight. I would highly recommend getting at least 3-4 people to help. My dad and I spent about 3 afternoons putting it all together. The waterproof hard top is made with solid galvanized steel while the frame is made of aluminum. More importantly, it is fade-proof and rust-proof. There are two removable nettings. I do find the installation video helpful but think it goes quite fast. I would play it at 0.5X speed. Overall, it looks great for my backyard and I don't have to worry about wind and snow anymore. It is a pricy upgrade but totally worth it.

This is a great product. It came in 4 boxes - not all on the same day. We spent 10-11 hours assembling it yesterday. We had at least 2 people working at any given time. At other times we had 5 people working. You need to have at least 2 people. We had a 6ft and 8ft ladder and a stool. The 8 foot ladder made a huge difference. The roof was the most difficult part to assemble, but once we got started, it got easier. We aren't using the curtains or netting, but did install the hooks. I used the hooks to hang string lights around the perimeter. The directions can be a bit confusing, but we figured it all out. I'm excited to have a hard top gazebo that we won't have to replace for a long time.

My husband is 77 and I'm 67...we were intending to have someone put this up for us, but we did it together... It's a nice size for our deck and we love the screens and privacy curtains...We weren't able to enjoy our deck because the afternoon sun was relentless!!! But with the fans and curtains we can enjoy :) And the 1 thing that we learned is when installing the roof.... It's 2 panel at a time, it took us 4 1/2 days to complete, but we had rain and wind after laying out the pieces, so he had to clean the sand and dirt off everything :( But my husband is very HAPPY with the results...Great price also !!!

We replaced our soft top gazebo with the Lausaint Harttop last year (2023). It was easy to assemble, held up beautifully over the CNY winter and we were able to use and enjoy it through the winter months. Now that spring is here, we are looking forward to spending more time in our little backyard oasis. Not only is the gazebo beautiful and constructed well, the customer service after purchase has been fantastic and helpful. We will definitely be shopping with this company again, if and when the time comes to purchase another in the future. Highly recommended by us.

The 10*12 gazebo fits perfectly in my yard and arrives right about summer time! It survives the recent rain season pretty well and the water proof material really comes really handy during that week-long rain. I really enjoy how the metal roof weighs during assembly and also how it fits my yard. The installation did not take me long and was super intuitive to install. I did the installation by myself and the stability holds up till today. Would definitely recommend to buy and will probably buy another one for parents, great value for the money!

This hardtop metal gazebo has been my best investment in 2023. It features a sleek and modern design. The structural aspect, where the water trough is cleverly concealed within the pillars and measurements, is a smart approach. I greatly appreciate the designer's effort in creating a design that includes very straightforward installation instructions. The size of 12 x 16 maximizes the outdoor activity area, and the design with rain curtains and mosquito nets provides the best outdoor protection during both the rainy season and summer.

We received this package with damaged panels and posts. Some of the brackets were drilled wrong and I had to redrill. A few of the pressed in nuts were loose and coming out before we started to put it together. After making those repairs, it's up, and looks good. Leaks a little water at a couple of seams when it rains. With that being said, their customer service reached out and made it right. So for their customer service, I changed the review to 5 stars from 3.

We put together the 12X16 metal gazebo. There were no bent pieces, had plenty of hardware and was easier than I thought it would be. Two of us did it in 2.5 partial days. Follow instructions and there should be no issues. I did have a problem with one of the zipper pulls on one of the solid "tent" sides. I was able to fix this issue. The company was willing to reimburse me for this, and did. Thank you for all your help. Company was easy to work with.

This is a fantastic gazebo. It is a strong,,well built, and beautifully structure made completely of aluminum. Any one drawback. The posts do not have any way to store/secure the drapes &bug screens when not in use. WTH? Every gazebo that I have ever bought had a Velcro strap to store the panels. This is such a a wonderfull & high quality gazebo that it is a shame to scrimp on the last detail. I will make some velcro straps an still be happy. Great product.

It is a very strong hardtop gazebo. I used to have a cloth gazebo but it broke after only two years of use. I had to look for a durable gazebo again. It very nicely engineered well built. My wife and I installed it for two day. Its quality is excellent, even better than I expected. I fixed it on the cement floor. I am confident that it can be used for a long time. Maybe 20 years I don't need to replace it. I have recommended it to my friends.

Shipping was fast and all parts were there. There was no damage to anything and instructions were clear. It took 3 of us 11 hours total to assemble it. I gave it 4 stars only because the grooves and hooks for both the mesh and curtain do not allow them to slide very easily so if we ever want to use them, it’s kind of a pain. Other than that, the gazebo is very sturdy so far. Looking forward to seeing how it holds up in some storms and snow.
