Canberra Gel does what it advertises. We have a diffuser in each room of our boat and it keeps bugs, mold and smells at bay.

This is a great way to do the gel if you already have small containers. Less waste and a better deal. Highly recommend the product. We had some issues with shoes - especially leather ones - in our lockers on the boat. I put each pair in a large enough Ziploc bag to hold them then made my own small breathable container to put a bit of gel in. Works GREAT. The shoes (or whatever) are not only protected from possible leaks but the Kanberra keeps the mold/mildew away! It is quite expensive, but well worth it and lasts quite a while depending on how much it has to work.

I buy at least on of these every year and use them primarily on my boat and in my trailer. I gave one to a friend who had moved into a trashed apartment with overwhelming old cooking odors. She and her boyfriend initially tried it and were like, "We don't get it, the smell isn't great." Two weeks later they started to understand when most of the odors were magically gone and a month later when the entire apartment smelled clean - not like it was bombed with air fresheners, but clean. Buying in bulk like this seems expensive, but it saves a fortune over buying small ones already in containers or trying to mask odors with air perfumes (Fabreeze). Just put some in a left over plastic container and either leave it open or poke holes in the top and shove it in a corner. It will filter out the odors in the air over time.

We use our Ford Explorer as the 'dog car,' and with two dogs and various 'accidents' in the car the smell had become almost intolerable. We had the carpets cleaned. We had it 'deionized' professionally (waste!). I used Fabreze. I used Nature's Miracle. Nothing worked. It was getting embarrassing, it was so bad, and we avoided using that car with other people. The Kanberra gel refill is for the small 8 ounce size plastic container: we put one of those in the truck last May, and in two months it has made a huge difference. The car actually does not smell anymore; no kidding, it's been amazing. That small container mostly evaporated into the interior of the car in about two months. We'll see if the car smells okay this winter, when wet feet and wet flooring tended to make the problem even worse.

In the great North West, the land of mold and mildew. It is difficult to keep humidity down and corners clean; we have a dog and are smokers to boot. Kanberra is the best deodorizer I have come across. This works better than Fabreez, cuz with out fans, plug in's, or any maintenance while in it's little container it aerates and draws out odors. Its Australian, it uses tea oil as part of the chemical make up. All I know is that when I come home I can walk in and not be offended by the smells of cooking, pets or cigarettes,.

My wife insisted that we get several Kanberra canisters for around the house. Ended up with one in each bathroom. Smells nice enough, I got a 4oz one for the shop as well, as it's not unusual for customers to drop off equipment that's been moldering in the cellar; and it stinks. This is the first year in memory I haven't gotten a sinus infection over the winter. My wife attributes it to the Kanberra gel pots, I'm not sure, but....smells nice.

I bought this for the pre owned RV that I have. It eliminated the musty smell. It also works good on cat litter smell. I bought the small jar first. Then I bought this refill and another jar. I would highly recommend it.

Kanberra does work very well and that's why I'll occasionally go for broke and get the very expensive refill bag. It is a significant investment but is the most cost-effective way to purchase it. The performance is outstanding.
