I was a huge G2BG fan. Yes, the one in the yellow tube that claims to be "water resistant".. It may "resist" water? But that's like saying I can "resist" chocolate. It sounds great, but when it comes down to me and the chocolate - the chocolate wins. Well, something prompted me to make a change, and quick. An old dandy of a man, walked up to me while i was grocery shopping. It was hotter than seven hells outside, and i had just finished working out. As we were talking i casually tugged the wig hair from my face, and the old ear flap popped up. The old guy, paused in mid conversation, said: "Well, good bye, hon.." And ran off with his walker like he was in a drag race. I pressed and held that flap down, but vowed to myself, i need to do better. The humidity in Chicago, is nothing to mess around with. And G2BG wasn't meant for these types of conditions. I bought the GhostBond XL, and i will tell you there is an incredible difference when you place your lace on it. The hold feels far more superior, and i felt a lot more confident in the wind, humidity, sweat even my workout.. Usually, when i would have conversations with people, or with friends, they noticed i would do this casual "tap" on my forehead. It was because with G2BG, the lace at the very top of my forehead would curl back. And there would be this tiny flap of lace just sitting out there which would need occasional "pressing down" when i would begin to perspire. Not with Ghost Bond. Once you're lace is pressed? It stays that way, at least for several hours before you need to just tap it, and keep going. This is just a one-layer application. The Removal of Ghost Bond is a huge pain, though. I used the Citrus 22, solvent, and kept getting these "gummy balls" all over the place. I went through several applications of the C-22, alcohol, shampoo and water, And castor oil, with several face washings to ensure the residue was off of my face as well. So.. This is what i've learned to do. G2BG is great if you want an easy removal. Thus I use this as the first and ONLY layer of glue for the lace. And i use one small dab of Ghost Bond in the weak areas. One tiny dab on top of the forehead, and dab each on the ear flaps. I did a work out, as well as went out with friends, etc. And that wig stayed put. When it's time for removal, i don't have to deal with an entire layer of Ghost Bond. Just the areas where i had to dab it. It's still a hassle? But a heck of a lot LESS of a hassle. Another tip? Don't forget to wear your WIGRIP. This will cover/protect your edges, and place the glue in FRONT of the hair line.. Not on it..

This stuff is AWESOME! I am wearing full lace wigs more often now and had been stuck in the nightmare of trying to get pins to hold to what's left of my thinning hair (alopecia + age, lol). I got a bottle of this to try out and it simply makes wig attachment so much easier to deal with. Plus, if you glue it down right, you don't have to worry about it shifting or coming off or up. Or about pins poking out, etc. Ghost Bond is easy enough. I just put the wig on and positioned it, then dabbed a line of GB across the forehead hair line (on my skin) and gently "dipped" the edge of the lace into it, then pulled it back gently so the glue could dry clear. Then I gently pressed the lace back down and tada! Then I go around the whole front of the lace like that, from ear-to-ear. Then I use two large bobby pins criss-crossed at the nape of the neck. This is for long hair wigs that don't need gluing down around the back side. I think if I glued it down all the way around I'd definitely have to sleep in it a few nights. This glue holds GREAT!!! Now I must say I haven't gotten sweaty or wet while using GB, so I can't speak to that, but I have a feeling this stuff will hold great. As for cleanup, that's kind of the rough part. I'm giving GB 5-stars anyway because it's purpose is to HOLD. Cleanup is certainly something we all want to be easy, but when working with chemicals, especially sticky, gluey ones, it's hard to have your cake and eat it too. So far I have found that using some kind of powder, I'm using baby powder (which may not be a healthy choice, unfortunately) and put it on my hand, then on the glue around my scalp (after removing the wig very carefully). Then I rub the powder around and into the glue residue until it basically balls up and rolls off. Then I use soap and water to wash off my face. Works better for me than rubbing alcohol. That's pretty damaging to skin, and wigs, though so I try to avoid it anyway. Ghost Bond is totally worth it. I highly recommend it!

(UPDATE 6/1/25) I’ve had this lace glue for about 2 months now and it has worked perfectly. The glue itself is still in great condition in the bottle. Only thing I do is clear the tip of the dried glue and widen the hole so a little more glue can come out at once. The glue dries to clear pretty fast so I could do 2 or 3 layers with no issues. I normally wear my band for 30 minutes to an hour and I didn’t have any weird white patches or stickiness on the band. I know that wig glue sometimes takes 24 hours to completely set in place but even with a little sweating at work, my wig didn’t move out of place at all. My wig also lasts about 2 weeks before I have to take the wig off, clean the lace, and reinstall the wig. That is moreeee than I was hoping for so I am very happy about that. The lace was also very easy to clean, the glue came off without any issues and didn’t cause any rips to the lace while removing. It was also very easy to clean any leftover glue on my forehead. Only thing I would say is be veryyy careful of not getting the glue on your hairline because it does stick very well and you might struggle a bit to remove the glue from your hair without a remover. Overall I am VERYYYY happy with my purchase and this was definitely worth the money! Will be stocking up on this glue! Changing to 5 stars! IG: m00nbunniee 🖤 I’ve been on the search for an amazing lace wig glue that can last me about a week before touch ups/reapplying is needed again and that can also withstand moisture like sweat. The bottle I received luckily was not damaged and dried out like I saw in some reviews. When opened, it started flowing out a little (which is expected due to altitude or pressure changes) and I was able to see that it was a good glue texture. So far it looks promising so I will give 4 stars for now and update after about a month of usage to see how it held up!

I have to say that when I first used this adhesive....I didn't like it. I thought it wasn't holding my lace frontal down. But the problem was that I wasn't using this adhesive correctly. Folks....This adhesive works great....you just have to know how to use it. Check out you tube videos on how the adhesive is supposed to be dotted along your forehead (in front of your hairline) then use your blow dyer on cool and keep it on the area you applied the adhesive until it turns clear...then re dot again for your 2nd layer and repeat same steps with the dryer. Trust me it works. It's all about getting the hang of it. Now I haven't tested out the adhesive for more than 1 to 1.5 weeks. It's just my preference to clean the lace and re-apply after a week has gone by. But otherwise it does last for that amount of time. I've gone roller skating and sweated hard and my frontal was still in tact. Just when I got home after washing my face...I tied my hair line area up with a scarf. My frontal was still laid the next day. I've included a pic of my recent install. Sorry it's only showing my forehead but the hair was crappy...dealing with that issue from that seller....but as you will see in the pic...my frontal is laid using the Go=host Bond XL! For those looking for video instructions, I've listed some names below. On YouTube: TT Wells (@TTdoesitall) Million Dollar Baby ( see her newest video - Blonde hair wig she made with a lace frontal - this one had the best instructions that really helped me out) Tiarra Monet I hope this helps.

I can't believe how well this formula worked! I'm a first timer with wearing wigs. I was having trouble with my wig slipping. So I started looking for a solution and came across this. Didn't think I'd find something that lasts like this! I followed the instructions given for application. Applying a small layer at a time with a popsicle stick. I only applied glue to my forehead though and down to my temples. That's all I needed. I didnt have to apply heat to solidify the glue. Simply sitting there did the trick. The hold was phenomenal. I tried pulling, and I pulled hard, it pulled my skin. It wasn't going anywhere. From makeup to shampoo and conditioner, it withstood it. After 30 days I still had to pull a little to remove it. But it had started to separate from my skin. Removing the wig was the easy part. The glue left on my skin did not want to come off. This is why I'm giving it 4 stars. Yes you want it to stay and not come off easily but this is on another level. I tried 90% rubbing alcohol and nail polish remover. They barely made a difference. I had to keep scratching at it with my nail until I was almost raw. It finally started to come off little by little over a couple days. I found out after researching that they sell a glue remover. What I wish they would have done is advertise this or explain that you were going to absolutely need this remover to get it off. That's my only complaint. Is it worth the money it costs? Yes!

This stuff is pretty good. I am not an expert and believe this could be 5 star worthy if I knew how to use it better. I watched a few tutorials and went for it and I can’t lie, I was surprised by how well it worked but I never left it on longer than 3 days. I am a major perfectionist and the smallest sign of lift or crust it’s time to come off. I don’t think I let it dry as long as I should have before I laid it at times and it looked whitish but it will STICK even if you sleep wild and sweat it won’t move lift or look crazy for a few days. My main issue is removing it from my edges and lace wigs but Ladies! This is so random how I discovered this trick but there this thing called Cinema Secrets Makeup brush cleaner. It’s a no water need brush cleaner that smells like vanilla and it basically softens the glue on contact. You can brush it out of your lace or with a wet or dry toothbrush or rub it off your edges and forehead without irritating your skin or destroying your lace. I spray that on and also use a bit of water too it neutralizes the wet glue smell and the glue chunks slide out of your hair. The cinema secrets is also good for taking off Got2B without having to wash your whole wig and it smells good.

So I am leaving a new review as the original was not the correct review for this product. This is a very good adhesive that I have been using and have even reordered. Holds really well... at least a week without having to retouch if I am gentle and don't get my hairline wet or get any facial cleansers on my hairline. If we are having a active weekend with swimming (full water contact) it will last through the weekend and maybe a couple days which will require some quick rinsing and leave in conditioner and drying the hairline and trying it down or wrapping the dried hair over night to ensure a solid bond adding extra adhesive if needed (the bond lasts 4-5 days vs 7days). Cleans off easily and desolves with 91% alcohol... minimal effort on the lace patience with big clumps I respray with a little pump bottle of alcohol satirate area let sit and work with tweezers a comb and a wash cloth dedicated to lace front cleaning. The longest the body extends is 10 days with my oily skin. Less oily skin could last 12 to 14 days with proper care. I am a licensed cosmetologist who works with hair replacement. This is a "soft bond" and a good one.

I've learned to apply this glue only on top of wig tape. But first, before applying my wig tape, I clean my skin and use alcohol. Then I complete the bald cap method (don't use makeup at this point yet, as it will lift your tape/glue). After using got2b to feel my bald cap down, I apply wig tape to clean skin, applying the tape half on the bald cap, half on my skin, making sure to ensure the tape has adhered. Then, I use this glue on top of the tape. I use 2 to 3 thin layers, allowing the glue to dry fully before applying my lace front unit. I tie it down with a melting band for some minutes, to make sure the everything has had time to adhere. At this point, you need to wait 24 hrs to allow any water to touch it, but it's safe to add powder based makeup only at this point. After 24 hours, then feel free to add water and foundation/concealer if you wish. Noting that any liquid or cream based makeup has oil that can cause your face to lift. When you go in the pool or sweat heavily, you may need to use a melting band until your head is dry. Most of these glues are no match for the skins oil, heat, and bacteria as time goes on.

This glue is the best, when I first received it which arrived in two days! Im a heavy sweater (due to my age and life) lol, so it kept turning white before I could get my wig on, but you have to go to the website prohairlabs.com and read the instructions. Once I followed their instructions it worked, I was ready to give up because as soon as you start to apply it starts the process so you have to be careful but also work quickly.....so I worked in stages. Dont forget you do have to clean up around your edges with the 90% alcohol after application otherwise your baby hair will stick in the glue. It feels tight, I can pull on it and its not going anywhere, it really does feel secure No fear its Not moving! The process is not difficult so dont over think it as I did. I will be purchasing from now on, not sure how long it will stay but I plan to give an update. I gave a 4/5 star due to this glue will turn White if you’re not careful. Great buy!

Well it's purpose is used for gluing lace fronts down and keep them in place. But I use this as lash glue and had no problems with it so far. Since lash glues for me never hold good enough (unless its kiss/la colors lash glue) or too expensive for very little product. So a bottle of this goes a long way for keeping my lashes in place and it comes off so easy. While it's not used for this purpose it surely helps me a bunch with my strip lashes. (I've been using it like this for about three years now and no problems at all) Stays on all DAY (even if i sweat it stays on tightly) until it's time for me to take them off. Though make sure you're clean ur lash line gently with a cloth to lightly scrub excess glue off but it usually just comes off with rubbing it off with ur hand <3 Lastly it also works amazing for gluing gems and face decor on too it holds securely!! (2022 makeup looks using this as a lash glue)

Pretty good, I do 4 thin layers letting them dry till clear between layers but it does go on white. If it’s too thick or clumpy in any areas it won’t dry completely clear. I suggest using a popsicle stick or end of rat tail comb to smooth and thin out layers. I can get a week or 2 wear with 4 layers. I can wash my face doesn’t mess with adhesion much. Easy to remove. I use 91% alcohol to clean my skin and lace prior to applying and I use the alcohol to remove the glue, I have not have not had any hair loss, I only gave 4 stars because it was a lot of trial, error and struggle to get it to work the way it should. It is very easy to work with though not all sticky and stringy like other glues almost like Elmer’s glue consistency. I would keep buying this glue.

2 weeks ago was my first time using this product, and my lace front is only just now starting to lift up a bit around the area right above my ears. I didn't even apply as much as what was recommended and everything stayed in place without even needing a touch up. The only complaint I do have is if any of the glue somehow gets in the hair itself (mainly close to the root/cap area?) and you need to flat iron or apply heat to that area, it lets off a horrible smell of like burnt rubber. Very unpleasant smell. It's also next to near impossible to remove and wash all of the glue out of the hair and the cap/lace part of the wig. I guess now I understand why others mentioned in comments that they may have to throw the wig away because they couldn't get the glue out of it.

This stuff works for me. I don’t know how other people apply it but I do one section of my wig at a time. Wait for the first application to get sticky and then do another application. Then attach your wig carefully. Take the time to do it. Tie down your edges overnight every night. Nobody can tell that I’m wearing a 360 wig. I wear my hair up in a bun. My hairline, back and corners are intact and undetectable as you can see. This is what a wig is supposed to look like. People shouldn’t know I’m wearing one. I redo it every week because I wash my hair and the wig. It lasts a full week. It’s also not hard to come off. Spray with alcohol and it rolls off or use sheen spray and rub it gently off your wig or skin.

This glue is truly invisible once applied, and it provides a secure hold without looking shiny or obvious. It’s both water- and oil-resistant, which is perfect for keeping wigs in place all day, even in humid or active conditions. The bond is strong, yet it doesn’t feel harsh on my skin, and a little goes a long way. Size is compact but lasts a good while, making it well worth the price. If you're looking for a reliable, durable adhesive that holds up well in various conditions, I highly recommend.
