This is a very unique therapeutic device from others I've used in the past, but I've come to really enjoy the relief it offers. It's constructed with a series of foam balls that align nicely along my spine. The balls move around enough to sort of land where they're needed. While it doesn't seem like it would provide much by the way of stretching, however, it's *just* the right amount of decompression for my spine. I also find that I can change position just enough to work the balls into trigger points and provide some release. Overall, I've really come to enjoy using this daily to provide consistent relief from back pain.

This device seems pretty simple, but I can also see how it might provide some relief for some people. It is basically just individual massage balls that are woven into this pattern. I am pretty flexible, and tend to just use a massage gun on my own back when I have back issues, so I'm not sure if I'm the target demographic for this. So I only found it to be mildly useful, but others might get more benefit from it. I suspect people that have less flexibility/mobility, or maybe chronic disc issues? In that though it might be wise to consult a doctor first.

It works mostly okay at providing pressure along the spinal canal. After using this for several recovery sessions, I think I mostly prefer a combo of a foam roller and acupressure mat. For me, this didn't quite hit the mark, but I think it would work if your muscles are sore along the spinal attachment points.

I'm using this with a wedge pillow, so I am propped up. It arrived with a chemical smell that vented off over a few days outside. It is easy to use and adjust to your needs. I can fold it over to support my neck and base of my skull or use it flat from my sacral to my skull. For me, it is a gentle stretch that doesn't cause pain or discomfort. It is more gentle than using one tennis ball at a time or a swim noodle or towel.

I work in a labor intensive industry and over the years, I’ve tried multiple techniques and have acquired several different devices for alleviating pain and discomfort. One tactic that I would often use is laying on top of a tennis ball or 2 to try and hit just the right spot. This spine stretcher is a similar (and better) solution and a pretty good way for me to hit a lot of those spots at once, but it’s much less forgiving than the tennis balls were. It took me a little bit of getting use to before I felt comfortable putting my whole weight on it, but once I realized how much resistance the balls offered and I was able to figure out where to best align them, then I was able to get a pretty good stretch in. I’m still finding new ways to use it, but so far, I’m pulling my knees to my chest while laying on it, crossing an extended leg across my body, sliding to one side or the other or even rolling one end to make it higher for my neck. It’s not a fix-all solution, but it gets results and I’ve added it in to my mix of my other pain management tools.

There are so many different variations of products like this that provide massage and stretching relief for your back, and they all have differences that make them better or worse than others depending on what you are trying to achieve. What I like about this one is how easy it is to use since you simply lay it on the floor and lay on top of it, however, you do have to wiggle and contort your body to get some massage relief from it unlike the rollers that allow you to put a lot of bodyweight into and target specific areas because of the curvature. I like how long this is so you can hit the entirety of your back without having to re-position it. The balls are firm, but have a lot of surface area so they're not going to provide that acupuncture you might get from a needle mat. It's very lightweight and easy to store. This is a good addition to the lineup of back relief product but it's not going to achieve everything all at once.

Pretty basic idea and production at a cost. This spine stretcher is basically a heating pad sleeve 42" X 9" X 3" filled with balls to lay on or sit on that helps to enhance blood flow and get the knots of muscle relaxed out. Thus, giving you reduced stiffness, pain, and discomfort. Works like what a lot of us have used in the past with a tennis ball and floor or wall. It states it supports persons up to 330lbs. I gave it that test and it worked fine and held up. The cost is what's holding back this review from a five star as the product is well made and does the job,
