ASY-368-X48-BLUE Installed in my new 3.5 ton Goodman. I had to relocate the run Cap and the contactor to fit it under the cover. The nameplate shows the LRA max at 112.2. The EasyStart Bluetooth app show the peak at 31.2 amps, that's 71.19% less than max.

I purchased an easy start for my American standard AC and my start amp have gone from average of 77 to 23. Fantastic product and my one question was answered the next day. Easy install even for a novice. Tge horrible grinding noise and slight dimming of my lights have disappeared. 5 stars

Two year old 4 Ton Lennox. This is one of the few products out there that lives up to all the social media hype. Easy to install with the installation kit (about 1 hour). Crazy quiet starts and no more flickering lights in the house. I can't wait to experiment running the AC with my emergency battery/inverter!

I installed the EasyStart Flex in my 3-yr old, 3-ton HVAC compressor. The work took me about 90-minutes start to finish. The EasyStart Flex fit nicely under the corner-cover where the electrical components are. This house also has a 22kw Generac backup generator, and it could barely* start the A/C compressor. I couldn't measure the actual load demand but per the data label on the Compressor unit, the LRA current load is 81.4 amps. The image attached here shows two actual load snap shots, post-install, from the (wonderful!) EasyStart App. There are two screen shots. On left, is the EasyStart when it is supplied power from street utilities. The HVAC compressor now draws max of 20.8 amps (!!). On right, is the same EasyStart when it is supplied power from the Home Generator. The compressor now pulls 26.2 amps, a reduction of more than 65% from the rated LRA current load of 81.4 amps. I'm not surprised it's a little higher on geneset (technical reasons for this). Last, and while subjective, I note what others have noted - the compressor seems to run more quietly, post-installation, than it did before install.

I have an old 3 ton Rudd and with a hard start kit it was reading 75 inrush amps but after installing the Easy Start Flex it now reads 25.8 amps! Amazing.

My A/C company installed this on my Ruud 3.5 ton A/C today. My unit had a LRA starting draw of 110 amps. After the Easy Start Flex went through the learning process the starting amp on his meter showed 33 amps the microair app concurred. Waiting for my 11,000 watt inverter generator to arrive, should run the unit without issue!

Ordered EasyStart Flex Bluetooth and install kit. After receiving everything I studied I install info on the website with York wiring diagram and youtube. Install went smoothly. Shortened wiring to fit enclosure. I had it installed in about 45 minuites being a DIY. Should have read instructions closer. Missed that Bluetooth only connects when unit is running. It's funny, got it installed just as the weather cooled. Hoping for some hot days to do a real test.

Living in Houston TX you need AC, and a backup generator. During hurricane Beryl we were without power for almost two weeks. The generator working, but definitely bogged down when we ran the 3.5t unit (only ran one unit). Just had two flex soft starts installed on 3.5 and 5t Carrier units. They are audibly smoother. Fingers crossed.
