Right output power generator.
Recently purchased a refurbished Firman 4000 watt dual fuel generator. No startup or run problems except when running the microwave at the same time as the AC. To me, this is a mild inconvenience. The generator does run my 60 watt electric compressor fridge/ freezer while the AC is running. While the weight of the 4000 watt generator is heavy at 90 lbs moving it around is made pretty easy utilizing a rear cargo carrier with a fold down ramp as seen in the pic. Point is, there are a lot of high output generators out there that are NOTwhat they are touted to be. The folks at Firman provided personal Excellent support. Don't need anything else to run my AC or other electrical needs..

Started on Shore Power 1/2 dozen times , Let cool down hooked up a 2000 Kipor generator started with no hesitation let run 20 mins for test. I bought the EasyStart 364 and installed it in my Coleman 15000 BTU A/C on my 5th Wheel! I was having a little trouble wiring it and called the customer service line. My call was answered by a real person immediately and he walked me thru the wiring process. That is what I call service! Thank you, thank you and thank you. I later tried starting my A/C, after following the directions on the learning process of the EasyStart 364, and it performed flawlessly. My 2000 watt Honda started it and I was able to run my lights also. Best decision I have made on purchasing this unit. Again, Thank You!

The team at Micro-Air embodies the spirit of customer service that most other companies only talk about. Matteo and Russ went above and beyond to help us out after we had made some mistakes on our end during the installation process. The speed of the response and willingness to work with us was easily one of the best experiences we've had doing business with anyone in the RV business, and I would extend that to any business. I can't recommend Micro-Air or their product more strongly to my fellow travelers.

Installation was on a Coleman Mach1.Before the install, Honda 2000 had trouble starting the compressor on eco mode. I had to turn eco mode off to reliably run A/C. After installation the A/C starts and runs with generator on eco mode.No more loud thump and trailer shaking when compressor starts.Install was very easy and I have never had the cover off of a roof top A/C before. If I can install it any body can. I highly recommend the EasyStart and Micro-Air!

I made one phone call to Support before I bought the 364 and one call from the roof of my RV to verify that I was installing it correctly. It works really well! The technical support was excellent. I have only moderate confidence with electrical procedures that I haven't done before. My questions were answered so that I gained extra courage to do it myself. It's great to be able to run the AC off the Honda EU2000 inverter. I would recommend the Easy Start to anyone who wants more capability to run the AC in remote situations. I believe that the Easy Start also protects my AC from stresses related to start up.

Product was very easy to install, and performed just as described. Can use my air conditioner with one Honda 2000i generator. I was looking to buy a bigger generator or another 2000i until I found the Micro Air Easy Start.

This is the new AC series from Dometic. The AC rooftop unit is so compact that I ended up installing the EasyStart 364 controller in the return air duct. The Dometic AC controller for the fan and compressor also shares the return air duct. Based upon this location, I had to extend two wires of the EasyStart 364 controller to connect the compressors's run capacitor. I used 12 AWG wire to match the EasyStart wires. Note that the capacitor is shared capacitor. One lug is for the fan motor and the other lug is for the compressor. The third lug is connected to the neutral wire. Once wiring was completed, preformed the 5 initial start-ups. All went well. Compressor starts up so quietly that I had to check the air flow to see if it was blowing cold air. After this, I tested the AC on a 3000 watt generator in the Econ mode. The generator never missed a beat as the AC compressor cycled on and off. The generator would only load up when the compressor was running. Prior to the installation of the EasyStart module, often the generator would trip when the compressor would start up.

I could never get the a/c (Coleman Mach 3 13.5K BTU) to start with my Champion 3100 inverter generator. It would always trip the overload. I tried a hard start capacitor, with no luck. I have a 4000W generator also, and it couldn't do the job. I installed the Easy Start (which was fairly simple), and followed the programming instructions. The a/c started right off with hardly a blip from the generator. Next, I got bold and tried starting the a/c with the gen in eco mode. I never expected that to work, but why not try and see what happens. It started. The gen ramped up to full power, but it worked. Now I am a happy camper again.
