IT IS AS GOOD AS THEY SAY!
Micro Air Easy Start is all it’s hyped up to be. I installed two of these. On on each A/C unit on my 2018 Airstream. I can run one A/C on a 2000 Honda generator and two of them on 2 2000 generators linked together. With one A/C unit on one generator there is still more power left. It’s not running so hard that you cringe when it fires up and it throws no codes. With 2 running with 2 A/Cs running same thing applies. It’s one of those good bang for the buck with no regrets. Ok now let’s talk about install. If you have any mechanical skill and can follow directions, it’s that simple. I installed two of these in 1.5 hours. Of course I took an hour to read the instructions over a couple of times before I got on the roof. That’s not the place to read, sitting on a curved roof.. Again buy it and enjoy without worry about the strain of your gen set.

Right output power generator.
Recently purchased a refurbished Firman 4000 watt dual fuel generator. No startup or run problems except when running the microwave at the same time as the AC. To me, this is a mild inconvenience. The generator does run my 60 watt electric compressor fridge/ freezer while the AC is running. While the weight of the 4000 watt generator is heavy at 90 lbs moving it around is made pretty easy utilizing a rear cargo carrier with a fold down ramp as seen in the pic. Point is, there are a lot of high output generators out there that are NOTwhat they are touted to be. The folks at Firman provided personal Excellent support. Don't need anything else to run my AC or other electrical needs..

Purchased two Yamaha EF2000ISV2 inverter generators with parallel kit to run 13500 btu dometic air conditioner on my travel trailer. Worked great. Saw add for easystart while browsing the internet and decided to give it a try. Took me about 20 minutes to install, but I also cleaned the coils while the cover was off AC unit. Will run on one YAMAHA EF2000ISV2 2000 WATT INVERTER GENERATOR in eco mode now. Guess I'll just rotate the generators now to keep hours the same.

My 47 foot sailboat has two cruisair air conditioners that had a start current of 30amps each. Often on a weekend when the marina was busy with many boaters, the units would fail to start and displayed a low voltage error code. After the simple installation of the easystart product, i am able to run both conditioners at the same time error free. better yet, i can run them on a single 30 amp shore power line where before it required two shore power lines. additionally i am now able to run both units on my genset simultaneously. Excellent product!

I bought the Yamaha EF2000ISV2 combo for my travel trailer, but was unable to use the A.C. At the advice of the retailer, I installed the soft start kit. I know nothing about HVAC, but the instructions were so easy I had the soft start kit installed in about 15 minutes. Only needed a screwdriver, some spade connectors, a pliers and that's it. I can now run my A/C on my generator! Amazing!!

I could never get the a/c (Coleman Mach 3 13.5K BTU) to start with my Champion 3100 inverter generator. It would always trip the overload. I tried a hard start capacitor, with no luck. I have a 4000W generator also, and it couldn't do the job. I installed the Easy Start (which was fairly simple), and followed the programming instructions. The a/c started right off with hardly a blip from the generator. Next, I got bold and tried starting the a/c with the gen in eco mode. I never expected that to work, but why not try and see what happens. It started. The gen ramped up to full power, but it worked. Now I am a happy camper again.
