I determined that the Crusisair AC/Heat FX16C-P unit for the cockpit / bridge area of my 2004 Searay 390My was no longer producing the 24vdc needed to power the thermostat and control the relay switching, the unit was basically dead. My choices were to call "the Guy" you know the guy who everybody calls whose bill starts at $1000 and goes up... OR get in there and try to fix it myself. Of course like everything on a boat the Cruiseair unit was right out in the open to work on.. No I had to build a platform over my salon Cruiseair and basically work upside down to get the circuit board out but not before taking a dozen pictures of where all the wires were connected. After a fair amount of internet searching I found this site. I couldn't quite figure out the exact replacement online so I called. Within seconds the gentleman who answered the phone had me directed to the part I needed. In installed it using the pictures to make sure all my connections were back in the right place and it's been working great for the past couple of weeks. Thanks Micro Air. Tom

I bought the Micro-Air A-288D Power Logic (P/L) board as a replacement to the Cruisair A-288C version that had failed in my SXR16/2 115/60/1 SMX unit. I discovered Micro-Air, Inc. by chance while searching the web for an affordable replacement board. So glad that I came across Micro-Air's web site... The Micro-Air P/L A-288D board is a connector-direct replacement to the OEM board and its construction is 1st class. The install was very easy to perform following the well documented diagrams that are found on the web site. In addition to the P/L board, I also purchased the Micro-Air EasyStart™ 364 (3-ton) Soft Starter – variant Standard A/C (ASY-364-X36-IP) to control the A/C compressor motor current at startup. It was the obvious thing to do while the P/L board was being replaced. With the new P/L board and EasyStart™ 364, my DX system is now operating perfectly with little startup surge.

I brought the board based on a hunch this was the problem but also having experienced poor support in Australia where we pay the Australia Tax on everything so we shop OS. Shipping was very fast via UPS to Australia in 5 days Board solved my issues immediately but 3 minutes later AC LO alerts occurred Tech Support at micro-air immediately solved this issue by return email sending manuals with default settings for the SMX controller Thanks guys - quality product at good price with shipping and support to match
