Have been using a Micro-Air soft start unit for several years now in my home ac condenser unit. Being in an extremely rural area we have less than ideal service from our electric supplier. Hard starting and lights blinking during air conditioner startup was a routine. Local HVAC techs just kept putting larger and larger hard start capacitors on the ac compressor with no relief. Found this company while searching online. Purchased and installed the recommended unit myself. It made all the difference. No hard starting or lights blink at ac startup anymore. Gone is the bang of the compressor trying to start with those large hard start capacitors. After impressive initial tests with the Micro Air unit, the hard start capacitors were removed and replaced with OEM spec capacitors. My ac starts smooth and quitely now.
