The install kit is nice because it’s complete and nothing else is needed.

Kit was a big help. Zip ties and weatherproof fittings all helped. Kit was missing a yellow button connector, and they substituted an orange thingy that just did not work, kept pulling loose. I got a butt connector and all worked perfect. Thanks!

Install kit missing fork terminal
Installation instructions state you may need a fork terminal, this installation kit should have included one. The included ring terminals are not large enough for wire gauge.

Install kit
While I didn’t use all the parts it was worth having. It saved me from having to run to the hardware store to buy the electrical connectors.

Had to supply 2 of 4 myself
I loved the idea of a kit to save what could turn into multiple trips to the hardware store to install my EasyStart Flex. The instructions were spectacular, but the kit was disappointing. Some of the fittings are suitable for 14 AWG (maybe 13 AWG) but do not fit 10 or 12 AWG wire. There was a female spade terminal fitting and a male spade terminal fitting for 10/12 AWG wire, but no butt splices, ring, or fork terminal fittings that fit 10/12 AWG. My install required: 1 female spade terminal fitting for the contactor (black wire, smaller as I recall, could use the smaller 14 AWG fittings), one butt splice (brown wire, needed 10/12 AWG), one fork/ring terminal fitting for the other side of the contactor (white wire, needed 10/12 AWG), and a larger female spade terminal fitting for the H terminal on the run capactior (orange wire, 10/12 AWG). Thankfully I had a box of 10/12 AWG butt splices and fork fittings, or I would not have been able to complete my install without a trip to the hardware store.

Save me a trip to hardware store
Several extra pieces I did not use, but having the right parts made installation a lot quicker
