My stock thermostat was failing after 17 years. While shopping for a replacement, I came across the Easy Touch series of enhanced thermostats. I cannot say enough about Micro Air customer support. I had new Dometic AC/Heat pump units installed. The installer had failed to properly configure the units causing the new Micro Air thermostat to malfunction. I contacted Kevin in Customer support and he put me in touch with the product engineer who suggested that my problem might be in the setting of dip switches in the new units. I opened the units and found that he was correct! The units were both set as zone one and no indication of the presence of a furnace ot that it was a heat pump as well as AC! Thanks to NIck (the engineer) analyzing my problem both units I was properly program them. They are adding a function to the thermostat to adjust the outside that triggers changing from Heat Pump to furnace. Dometic sets the temperature at 28° which is to low. Heat Pumps do not function well below about 40°. I could go on, but you get the idea, Micro Air provides superior customer support.

This is by far the best thermostat I have found for my RV. The original Dometic 10 button was absolutely horrible. We have 3 zones each with an ac/heatpump and 2 zones with our Oasis boiler system, so it was hard to find a great thermostat that would work with all the zones. This unit was plug and play as advertised. Just simply mount it on the way and plug it in. This unit now shows inside, outside and set temperature, unlike the Dometic one. This unit has an away mode that will let you set the high and low temperature, similar to a Nest thermostat. The away mode is perfect here in SC for the time of year where you use heat at night and air condition during. Best of all I can is the wi-fi capability, so I can monitor the inside temperature for the comfort of my pets.

This thermostat is AWESOME!!! You just plug it in and it works. No set up except downloading the app and connecting to wifi. I live in South Florida and it is HOT!!! I don't want to run my A/C all day so I run my temperature controlled fan all day and once I get out of work I turn on the A/C from my phone and my RV is cool when I get home.

I bought this to replace a domestic that was so clunky to use, this is so much easier to use. It’s well worth the money.

Took about 10 minutes to install. The connect with app was a little cumbersome, but I was in the middle of nowhere when I tried. But the connectivity is great and the simplicity of the device is top-notch.
