I’ve had an Easy Start on my 5th Wheel AC for a couple years and added one to each of my house units. Based on my experience with those I bit the bullet and bought the thermostat. On our first big trip with it and we’ve used both the WiFi and the Bluetooth interface. We use the Bluetooth from inside our tow rig to monitor temps as we travel. Simple install. Hope it holds up to the extreme heat we get in Texas.

I purchased a camper last year from a friend and have been slowly doing a handful of upgrades to make things a little better... first the matresses, the blinds... but one thing that really needed to go was that Dometic push button thermostat. In the world of tech today, I needed something that gave me "more"... The Micro Air EasyTouch RV 351 was exactly what I was after. The instructions provided in the knowledge base section of the site covered everything I needed, from removing the OEM thermostat, to mounting and wiring up the replacement. Getting it setup to my phone and wireless was pretty painless. There are a lot of settings to go through for configuring, schedules, etc... but I was able to setup the heat temp and turn it on and off remotely, which is exactly what I was after in the purchase of this unit. I ordered and used the mounting plate as well, which was well built and makes the install look a little more "complete". 4 screws and the thermostat clicks in place and I was up and running. The thermostat without the mount probably would have been fine... but for $15, it was a worthwhile addition. Pleased so far... hopefully it "just keeps working"!

Imagine snuggled in a warm bed, the AC fan has been running all night to block campground noise, the inside temperature is in the upper 50's. Do you really have to get out of bed to kill the fan and start the heater? Not if you have the Easytouch RV Thermostat! Just pick up your cellphone and control all aspects of your RV's heating and cooling from the convenience of your warm bed. Left for the day and forgot to turn on the AC? Just use your cellphone to check the inside temperature and activate the AC from anywhere you have cell service. Best money you can spend on upgrading your RV!

We have been suffering with the Dometic thermostat for years. A couple of years ago I received a link to micro-air. I wasn’t ready to spend that much money at the time. I finally bit the bullet and ordered it. It arrived a day early. Installation went well until time to use the new thermostat. Couldn’t get it to connect with WiFi or Bluetooth. A screen prompt asked for a name, I named it thermostat. Nothing happened so I thought maybe it wanted the SSID so I put that in, still nothing happened. Decided to try Bluetooth but no signal. I filled out a form for technical support the next morning. Shortly after that things started happening. On the WiFi network now the rest of the story is having fun learning about the device.

I bought two of these several months ago. First let me say I love them. They work great, I am able to check and easily adjust the settings anytime I need from my phone it’s great. Now on to my one hope that would make these that much better. I have noticed that as the temp changes throughout the day the thermometer inside the faceplate fails to keep an accurate indoor temp. The ability to connect an external thermometer that could keep a more accurate temperature would be great. I currently have to use an external and adjust manually. The ability to adjust on the faceplate is great but the fluctuations make it impractical to do this over and over and over. Overall great product though and would definitely recommend.

This product is excellent in many ways and one of the most important is ease of install/use. This unit connects to your wifi, if you use their app you can check, set & change just about anything remotely. The unit itself also has an excellent dimmable touch screen display that provides all of the same features on the app. The unit provides excellent temperature control, keeping within +1* to +2* of the set temp. The only downside as noted by another reviewer is the unit does not keep an accurate ambient temp. I've found the ambient temp to be +3* to +5* off, reading higher than actual. This may be due to the internal heat generated form the screen?? I used a laser temp reader all around the room; when I put the laser temp reader on the unit itself, it more closely aligned with the temp the unit was indicating rather than the actual ambient temp. Fortunately the unit does provide an ambient temp adjustment +/- setting. Regardless of this slight downside, it's far better than the standard Dometic thermostat i had and i would strongly recommend this unit.
