I live aboard my boat and so far this unit works great and I decided to purchase this display to accompany a second 16k unit I’ve added to my boat and it was a close match to the display that was installed with my primary 16k unit. When I ordered the display I decided to get the WiFi version because it was approximately $30 more than the non WiFi.. so what not? I don’t really need remote monitoring from anywhere but have an app on my phone to control and manage stuff on my boat has been very handy with my solar and nav systems.. So my suggestion for improvement would be to add control of the scheduling/programming features to the app.. Being a live aboard boater, I do use these scheduling features to adjust setpoint temperature for different times of day as the effect the sun here in Florida has on the hull of my boat’s temperature can change dramatically between day and night. And the parameter scheduling requirements change seasonally too (not based on the day of the week). So to some up my rambling.. 1. Add schedule programming to the app. 2. Redesign the schedule programming to be based on spring/summer/fall/winter rather than Sunday through Monday. Dividing the day into 4 different time periods/setpoints is great but it very tedious to have to program seasonal settings across a 7 day week in the scheduler when what I need is 4 or so “seasonal” settings that can be recalled based on what the climate is during a time of year because I live here.. I don’t need separate programs for a Monday in contrast to a Tuesday.

Wi-Fi control and starlink
While the control has nice features and the app works fine in the boat, be aware that if like most cruisers, you are using Starlink, that this Wi-Fi AC control will not allow remote access control through a Starlink connection.

Wi-Fi control and starlink update
As an addendum to my first review, after some work, you can control remotely with a Starlink ISP on the boat, but it involves having a Windows computer on the boat connected to the network, Bluestacks on that windows computer running the android version of the EasyTouch Wifi app, and a VPN such as TailScale. Not easy or plug and play, but possible.
