this was a little short for my liking but it was well written and definitely a good read (read it in one night) i am a read-aholic so i read fast and often. This had a good story line and they kept the suspense going thou out the book. good guy bad guy was a bit cliche but like i said still a good read

Lucas is many things protector, enforcer and for one woman mate. Kira has a gift, which has her dreaming of an unknown man. When the dream turns to reality sparks fly between the pair. A quick, fun, steamy read that entertained.

This was a great start to a new series. In a world where it is forbidden to mix the different supernatural clans, a forbidden bond both saves a life as well as destroys others. If Kira doesn't find her mate, and soon, she will succumb to the insanity that curses her clan if the mating ritual doesn't happen soon. Unfortunately, her chosen mate is from another clan, and even worse, he thinks she is his enemy. I enjoys the romance between Lucas and Kira, and the familial bonds between the brothers. I would read more from this author.

This is a quick read. I really enjoyed this book and the characters were so easy to visualize. Kira is dreaming of a man and thinks she is imaging the intensity of the dreams . Lucas is having the same dreams but thinks it's a coping mechanism to his situation. Then they meet and the adventure begins. There are shifters, steamy romance, and witches. Great original story

Lucas & Kira were an interesting pair. Kira has so much sass in her and also passion . Lucas came around to their mating very easily for a change. There was enough angst in this short book that either of the characters being dense about their situation would have been a real distraction.Going to check out the rest of the series soon as I get a clear path to the desktop. ~P~

This is a short, sexy read. It was full of action and steamy sex scenes. There were a few things left unresolved, but no more than expected in a series. I can't wait to read more of these books.

While these two were not supposed to be together, their chemistry is smoking hot. Lots of action and very sexy. While Kira feels and fears she is going mad, Lucas can't figure it all out, but knows he craves her like no other. I did feel that I needed more back story for the beginning of a series, but I still couldn't stop reading. Hooray for Lucas!

Southern Shifters, first book in a series which will follow a set of brothers, they each have their own issues and vices. Lucas is called to a psychic that I part of the shifter world but not a shifter, and this goes against clan laws.It was a good book, sexy and fun, short and sweet. Well worth the read.

I really liked this book. Storyline was interesting, suspenseful and hot. Loved the interaction and chemistry between Lucas and Kira as they fought their attraction. I easily was swept up in the story and couldn't put the book down. Can't wait to read the next book in this series. Would recommend.

Steamy read! Kira keeps seeing Lucas in her dreams, and knows her mate is the only one who can save her. Plot twist kept me on my toes. Looking forward to reading the rest of the series.

The title fits this story perfectly. This author is new to me and I'm so glad I found this book. I love a good shifter read and this was definitely that. I look forward to reading more of this series.

The book was very well written and quite steamy. My only complaint is that I wish the plot was expanded upon at bit more. I feel like the book could've gone on much longer if it had of been.
