This was a great continuation to this two-part series and I have to say that I do not want to spoil the plot for other readers so will only divulge as little information as possible. Nova and Rock and Ronin continue to find that their story is filled with suspense and unknown factors that will keep you guessing about this story from beginning to end.This story is slow cleverly written it is filled with lots of twists and turns and it will hold your attention from beginning to end, throughout this book you will be kept guessing as to what the final outcome will eventually turn out to be.Will Ronin get what is owed and will the revenge ever come about and when and if it finally does in what matter will it actually be.Read this amazing book and discover the finale of this wonderful read, you will be totally blown away I guarantee this.I assure you that you will love every moment of this book it is simply a fantastic read.I voluntarily received and review an Advanced Reader CopyI thoroughly enjoyed the book and look forward to reading any future publications; keep up all the great writing.

Oh my! This is FANTASTIC! Absolutely fantastic! I loved the twists and turns! And getting to see several characters from prior books made it just *muah*. 💋While my hopes of Ronin and Rock setting their differences aside for one night and taking Nova to another stratosphere didn't come to fruition, - hey, it could've been a dream sequence for all I care - but it was still a steamy, stormy read with some very intriguing sleight of hand and quick thinking.I'm just going to leave you with this:If my sweet angel wanted to be the sacrificial lamb to ease some of it, I would accept. --Rock ReedUmm... This duet is set in a world that E.M. Gayle continues to build upon with characters crossing over but, while helpful and recommended reading material, you don't need to read the prior books to enjoy this duet.

Wow! What a conclusion to this Duet series featuring Rock, the FBI agent, Ronin, the head of a mafia family and Nova, the woman torn between the two and an asset for her family to use. Nova is just a pawn for her father to trade away to get what he wants. While she tries to find a way to freedom, her secrets are overwhelming and may cost her the man she loves. Ronin is out for revenge and he also uses Nova to get it. Rock is trying to bring down both the Cullotta and the Kavanaugh families to face justice and knows Nova is the key. The story has many twists and turns, plenty of suspense and keeps you guessing.This is a voluntary review of an ARC.

The awesomeness continued with this duet’s conclusion! We get alternating POV’s from Nova, Rock, and Ronin as the story continues to develop and secrets are uncovered. Nova and Rock though, what they feel for each other comes straight through all the turmoil and intrigue, and that only gets stronger as time rushes past. Our couple goes through a lot to be together, to stay together, fighting all comers, and succeeding at every turn, despite the odds. This had steam, twists, turns, and, finally, an HEA, along with hints of things to come <3

E.M. Gayle really knows how to entice her readers into following her.The conclusion to Rock & Nova"s story was like walking on a live wire. Lots of anticipation waiting for the Apex which was perfection! This is the reason I can't help following this author. She knows just the right twists and turns to keep the anticipation high and rewards you with one of the best stories along with some of the most creative characters.I highly recommend this to readers who love heat, action and well written storylines that will never let you down.

I am always speechless at the end of such a fantastic book. E.M. ties this series together with fantastic characters, mystery, intrigue, and lots of intense attraction. For Nova and Rock their adventure has taken a huge leap forward, but there is the dark shadow looming over them as they work to unravel who, what, how without getting killed. I couldn’t get enough of these characters. The games and suspense was killing me the entire read because you never knew what to expect, especially with Ronin who was a master of keeping these games interesting. Nova and Rock’s relationship was also a plus in the story as they have this connection that just pulls you in and leaves you wanting more of what they both can offer. Together they will figure a way out of this mess and be together.

A very enjoyable story that had me glued to the pages of this book as I tried to keep pace with this riveting story. I loved the energy that was palpable throughout the story.
