Broken Saint by E.M. Gayle was a PHENOMENAL piece of writing!!! I absolutely LOVED the story of Rock, Ronin, and Nova. She’s incognito…daughter of a high-level kingpin…she negotiates a deal with her father. She meets Rock…whom she has a ongoing relationship with….until he discovers what she is to Ronin!!!!DRAAAAAMA!!!! There’s so much going on in the suspenseful, eye-popping, shocking story!!!! Lots of secrets…lots of drama….lots of underhandedness…by EVERYONE!!!! This book was not what I expected. Everyone is not who they seem and have lots of secrets. Nova is falling in love but conflicted because it was only meant to be temporary while knowing she must marry another. I honestly don't know who she will end up with! This author wove these characters in such a way that you feel like you're a part of their journey and the further into the book you go, the more wrapped up in them you get. Great start to a series with dominant men of the FBI and feuding Mafia families. At the center, is Catherine Cullotta, aka Nova, who the men use as a pawn in their plans. Her father cares nothing for her except as a bargaining chip. The arranged marriage planned for her with Ronin is to bring two powerful families together. Rock and the FBI are looking for missing blood diamonds.I loved the two men in Nova’s life, Rock and Ronin. Both desire Nova, but she has trust issues with both. Throughout the book, I couldn’t help but feel for Nova as her life is an illusion as she fights for her freedom to live her life. I can’t wait for the continuation to see who she chooses.This is a voluntary review of an ARC.

I thought we would find out who Nova’s husband would be between Rock and the mystery man. Who knew it could get sooo complicated. Now we have to see if the man who loves her and the one who wants to play with her can save her.

Nova’s body belongs to Rock, who’s gotten in too deep. Ronin is who she’s promised to. Nova’s time is up her freedom to live her life her way is coming to an end. Who will claim her heart?
