This story kept me interested all the way through, was a well written book. And loved the characters as well, definitely worth the read!

This is my first read from this author and it was good. The story and characters set an intriguing scene that leaves you needing more. Several key scenes keep this story rolling in the most unsuspecting way.

This is an author that I have loved reading from the first book I picked up of hers. I never hesitate to pick up one of her books. I love being pulled into the story by the characters. This book is no different. This is a well written story where the author's use of details gave the story a realistic feel. The characters are creative, unique and relateable. I enjoyed how the brought the story to life and kept it engaging. This is a story about Harper and Alex. One invitation and steamy sex turn into something neither one of them seen coming. They have great chemistry and growth throughout the story. They are my favorite and enjoyed what they brought to the story. This is the first book in this series and I can't wait to read the second book. This is a must read story and I highly recommend it.

I so loved this book. It captured me in right from the beginning and kept going. Harper receives a very intriguing invitation and meets Alex. The story and the chemistry between the two are steamy! This was actually the first book I read from this author and it didn't disappoint. I'm so looking forward to reading more!

I got a free copy of this book several years ago and it has been in my TBR library. I finally got around to reading this one and I liked it so much I got the second book. This is a well written story I only hate that it comes in two parts but it hooked me so hard I couldn't put it down. The characters are amazing. I would encourage you to get this book but remember it is a part of a duet it has a slight cliffhanger ending.

Harper moved to New York City to escape her past. She excels as a chef and baker but her personal life is lacking. Alex observes Harper working during an event he attends and is immediately drawn to her. He extends an anonymous invitation to Harper on Valentine’s Day. She accepts. They start to build a relationship but will their pasts collide with their present? Good, fast paced read. Can't wait to find out what happens.

'Merciless Sinner' is book one in E. M. Gayle's "Mafia Mayhem" Duet. What an exhilarating story this one has turned out to be! A tragic backstory, a new beginning, a mobster's stepson, a cop, a new beginning, and a chemistry between the Hero and heroine that becomes all-consuming. There was no way once I started reading that I could put this down until it was finished and now I desperately want to know the outcome of the cliffhanger and all the open-ended situations. If you want more than just a book that contains erotic scenes and a hint of the dark, this one has substance with a bite.

Good read the anticipation of how the male character handles his obsession over the female character keeps you reading. I like books that has an intense sexual chemistry between the characters but they don't actually get together with the classic hea. Plus the secrets held back between them gives it a great plot.

Loved the books, loved that the heroine is curvy. Too many stories of stick thin beauties. I’d love to see a book on Jeremy come along though. He’s piqued my interest .
