It has been a while since the last book I read by Eliza Gayle. and this series was one of my favorites.I can't believe how much I missed Tucker, Levi and Mason. Now we have a part of Gabe's story and yeah.....it blew me away.Secrets are still being revealed with a shocker that I did not see coming. OMG...this is just not a book written around the Purgatory Club and the hot, sexy, alpha men who run it. This is about secrets that have formed this men and helped make them into who they are with the added addition of a kink club.Gabe and Nina have both had a strong attraction and connection to each other. Now, that things are falling apart for Nina, Gabe will no longer stand back and watch, he is going to be the one to help her work through her issues despite Mason warning him away from Nina.I can't say anything more. Believe me you don't want me to. Once you begin this book you'll understand why. Let me just say that every book in this series grabs you by the balls and refuses to let go. They are intense and I found myself admittedly obsessed with the characters. The author did not just add fuel to the fire with this book, she caused a god-damned infernal. I was pulling my hair at the end of this first book of the dues. The cliff hanger was perfection yet I have to admit I want the second book......and I want it NOW. True to the Purgatory series, this book will have you shaking with anticipation in more than one way and adding Eliza Gayle to your must read list.And Ladies.....almost every book has typo's, errors and such. Sometimes you just need to look past these things to sit back and enjoy the story. I understand these things can be annoying but I feel the story and it's characters far bypass glitches. Also, make sure you read that this book is a Duet so yeah....there will be a cliff-hanger. It only fuels the fire and makes sure you come back for the ending.

I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book but I also bought it so I could add it to my Purgatory Masters Collection. These are the first books I've read by this author but I will be grabbing all of her books now! This story is about Gabe and Nina. He manages Purgatory for his best friends who are sons of Rev Lewis by different mothers. Nina is also Rev Lewis's daughter by another mother. It seems the man was a polygamist and a womanizer. Savanna Lewis who hadn't spoken in 10 years confessed to Lewis's murder 10 years ago but will now say nothing more. Nina cannot remember what happened that night but her brothers think she killed the father. Have has always loved Nina and took her in to keep her safe and take care of her, a safe haven. Nina does not like Gabe's need for the BDSM lifestyle so that is why she will only be his friend. He is trying to convince her that the ultimate trust in a Dom/sub relationship may give her the peace she needs to open her mind to what it has locked away. Nothing else has helped. Will Nina accept Gabe's idea? But she made a pact with her mother to not have sex until she's married. Won't that mess with a Dom/sub relationship? Have has an answer!! Then Nina sees Savanna in jail and hears shocking news but Mason, her brother switches it up and then CLIFFHANGER!!!

Nina has no memories of the night her father died. Her brothers all assume she did it and have tried to protect her. But when Tucker's mother turns herself in it creates a shirt storm.Gabe is considered family and she is hiding at his house trying to remember, but nothing is working. He has been in love with Nina forever, but she is not a fan of his lifestyle. But when the family tries to pull a secret intervention on her, she shows them what she is made of. Gabe supports her as always. But are does have a secret she has been keeping one Gabe is pretty happy with.Can these two actually be happy? Will he get her to submit? Although I'm not a big fan of books with a cliffhanger ending, this book was a pleasant surprise. The events in this book seemed to happen at light speed. As soon as I started reading it I was instantly on a roller coaster with no brakes. The twist, turns, highs and lows just kept coming. I was on the edge of my seat waiting and wanting to know what was going to happen next. It was so well-written and the characters were so well developed that it was as though I knew them and was experiencing everything with them at the same time. Secrets are coming to the surface. Does Gabe turn away from Nina when they start to come to light? What does Mason know? Does Mason know more than he is saying? Can Nina come to terms with the secrets as they are brought to light? Or does she fall apart completely? Buy the book and find out for yourself. I did and I don't regret it one bit.

This was such a fast paced well versed book that I flew through it. When I got to the last page, I was stunned, literally. It was such a shocking end and all I could think of was NO this CAN'T be the end of this book. I was hoping I was behind in the series so I didn't have to wait for the next book. Well, I have to wait. This book if you have read the others in the Purgatory series you know what is going on and can keep up with all the twist and fast talking. I have been waiting for Nina and Gabe to finally get together and this does not disappoint. Well written just like all the other books and they kept my interest and the pages turning. The characters are so realistic that you feel like you know these people. Great story and I ABSOLUTELY CANNOT WAIT for the next book!!

So I held off on reading this, because I knew we needed the next part to get the whole story. As much as I wanted to read this earlier, I waitied, and now, I WISH I HAD WAITED FOR THE SECOND PART!!! Okay, this was good, so very, very, very good, but the cliff hanger has me all, more now, right now, more please, pretty please?Nina and Gabe, always around, and playing parts in the Purgatory series, and dancing around each other. Finally, finally, they get together and get a chance at their HEA, but no, the authour likes to feast on the tears of her readers, and she did THAT to themNow, I wait, and I obsess, on the twist or turn, that will get this "issue" worked out!

The fallout from Reverend Lewis's sordid, perverse past keeps getting worse. Untangling the truth is a monumental job and now Nina is caught up in it. Unfortunately she can't remember anything about "that night." Gabe Michaels has, after too many years, taken on the role as her protector. Nina has always rejected any of Gabe's advances but now all bets are off. She needs him and he declares that he is the one who will help her put the pieces of her life back together. But more revealed truths shock them both. As deteils unfold we are left awaiting the next book before get all the answers.

As Nina struggles to come to grips with recent disclosures, Gabe suggests a solution that might aid her memory, but is she brave enough to follow that path? It’s a well written story full of drama, angst, some dirty talk and steamy encounters. I’m looking forward to the conclusion of their story and the solution to the mystery that’s been the underlying cause of so many secrets throughout this series.

I am not a fan of cliff hangers but Gabe and Nina's story is worth the read. Nina and her family is keeping secrets that Gabe wants to get to the bottom of. Nina is not a fan of Gabe's lifestyle and only wants to be friends giving her past. But when the truth comes out it is going to devastating! This story has so much drama with its twists and turns, you will be shocked with the conclusion of the story!

I loved this book!, it has brilliantly written characters and a fantastic storyline although this is a short read there’s enough packed in here to leave you waiting desperately for more... (this book does end on a cliffhanger but please don’t let that stop you from reading it as it’s definitely worthwhile). I would definitely recommend this book.

Great read. I really enjoyed this book. Loved the characters and storyline. This author did a Fantastic hob writing this book. This book was very well written and author really knows how to draw you in and keep you reading until you finish the book wanting to know what happens next.

What a great story! I have loved all of the books in this series and cannot wait for the last piece. With suspense and romance, Gayle has written a great set of books. You will not want to miss this set and the cliffhanger on this one will leave you on the edge of your seat!

Wow! Talk about a dramatic ending.... I REALLY NEED THE NEXT BOOK! The deep emotions between Gabe and Nina will leave you anxious and breathless in turns. Nina's emotional submission is exquisite, and the explosive cliffhanger ending will have you squealing with need.

What a great start to this story with Gabe and Nina. Oh those twists and turns. I had the death grip on my kindle and at the end? I kept tapping the scene.. wait what? And yes, one hell of a cliff hanger and I can't wait for the next book. I love Nina and Gabe.
