After a long stint in Afghanistan Levi decides he wants to go home. It's been 10 years. He goes to a little restaurant and meets an adorable 5 year old named Hannah. she babbles constantly and he finds he's enjoying her. In a few minutes he meets her mother, Tori. and as the saying goes, the rest is history!

Enjoyed some aspects of the book but the blowing hot-and cold from tori was annoying to say the least. It’s not a keeper and not sure I’ll read any further.

This book ties in so nicely with book one. Answers to questions are made known. Can’t wait to keep reading this series: be aware there are triggers points in this story.

A chance meeting with Hannah, a 5 year old who was sitting on her own in his sisters cafe with her crayons and what a cute delightful little girl she was, she just took his heart away with her chit chat, particularly when she gave him her drawing, a little later In between the chit chat Levi saw her mother, she was bending down retrieving an apricot pie, his mind was kind of scrambled. The first stirrings in a long long time.

Levi Hawkins has been a wanderer for 10 years, displaced by untold events. Realizing he needs to add new chapter to his life by settling down, he returns to his childhood home. Meeting woman who calls to him on every level and her precocious five year old daughter, Hannah, gives Levi hope. Finding out Tori Ford is submissive is almost a dream come true. Tori left her submission behind years and does not realize how much she missed it until Levi comes along. The past is once again rearing its ugly head and Tori and Hannah are caughr in the middle.

Loved Levi’s book . This series is a must read.

I love the family dynamics. I started with Tucker's story and half way through I was wanting to know more. It is truly a great series.

Great story. I do enjoy the bad boy finding his match and it started over a piece of pie. This is book 2 in Eliza Gayle's Purgatory series and while Levi and Tori get there story, we are still learning about how Tucker, Mason and Levi are connected. I'm hooked. Levi and Tori are a hot couple, the connection was instant for me. The story mixed drama, suspense and a healthy dose of romance. They heated up the pages and pulled me into the story.

This is a good read but do not start here. This series is all about the past impacting the present and has a very strong series story arc which was introduced in book 1, Tucker’s Fall. And no, it’s not resolved in this one, either – but we do get more details and hints in this one. All we really know for sure is something BAD happened in the past which shattered the lives of the participants. The series arc is not resolved but Levi and Tori’s story? Oh yeah, nice ending.If you like your heroes tortured and little twisted, Levi is the guy for you. But although the whole BDSM thing is an integral part of the story [and definitely steams up the sex scenes], it’s not what the story is about. I like that. It tells the story of two people who are kinked but not solely about kink. Hannah is a five-year-old who’s willing to share her crayons. Tori is first and foremost a single mom who loves her daughter and bakes the world’s best pies. Levi is a guy who spent the last years of his life running from his past and is now trying to find a future. They all just want to belong.
