Tucker Fall's is the first book in a trilogy about the owners of Purgatory, a BDSM club. Very few people know these men own the club and they like to keep it that way. There is a mystery in all their pasts that I think will slowly reveal itself over time as you get hints of it in this first book.Maggie Cisco returns to her hometown after being detained during a BDSM club raid. Now jobless and recently divorced over the incident, she just wants to lick her wounds in private. Years of research is down the drain, but she hopes to redeem herself with a memoir on her research of the alternative lifestyle of BDSM. Knowing she is submissive, she pushes all her desires deep down inside and tries to pick up the pieces of her life. When Maggie gets stuck in a snowstorm, she takes a ride from a man from her past the opens her eyes wide. One shared kiss when they were teenagers has stuck in her mind over the years, but fear of being hurt again makes her want to curl into herself.Tucker has craved Maggie's submission since high school, but life didn't go the way he wants. Now he is a billionaire living in seclusion in their hometown, he's hiding from the world and the Dom inside. Tucker knows the moment Maggie comes back home and does all his homework to find out where she has been. Now he wants to bring out her submissive side he is longing to cultivate. When he rescues Maggie from the snow storm, he makes her a proposition. Become his submissive and he will teach her everything she has longed to do in her research, but never had a partner to do it with. The first scene the two do is very intense for both me and the heroine in the story. Tucker uses orgasm denial to bring her to a fever pitch that left me even panting. But all the emotions she feels scare her into bolting. Add on top of that some embarrassment for coming apart as hard as she did causes her to have what is basically subdrop. The emotions are intense and left me wondering just how you get over it. Of course that is part of aftercare, being held and brought back to reality slowly.Tucker is also an artist and he paints a picture of Maggie at one point that is so vivid in my imagination. His true passion is glass work, which at the time of the year was too cold for him to do. His sister runs the local diner in town and we see her a lot when Maggie goes there to regroup several times. Their past with their father seems to have been harsh and shaped a lot of who they are now, which is very hardened and tough.Maggie and Tucker have a lot of emotional baggage to get over in the course of their story. Some of it not so bad to overcome and other parts that could almost be devastating. Secrets are slowly revealed while others are hinted at and make you want to shake Ms. Gayle to find it all out! While I loved the characters, there were parts that I wanted to shake these characters to make them realize what they were doing. You get a hint that Tucker wants a 24/7 BDSM relationship, but you never get far enough to see how they will work out their future. I guess we can only hope to see some more of them in the next two books in the trilogy.A great weaving of delightfully wicked BDSM scenes, with a story that gets out of the bedroom too. Side characters who you want to learn more about, along with a mystery that will have me grabbing the next book in the series.Thank you to NetGalley for allowing me to read this book.

I think this quote from the book is about to go into my favorite quote pile."'I'm beginning to worry you might be more evil than I originally believed.' He grinned down at her. 'It's the pretty face. Fools them every time.'"Those pretty faces are trouble aren't they? But sometimes trouble can be so much fun!I have not yet read all the other Purgatory books. I think there were some other back story elements that I might have had a better grasp of if I had. That being said, I was still able to follow the story well, and not knowing some of the back story put me in a similar spot as the heroine, and made her rediscovery of an old flame just as real for me.I will say this book hit some serious hot points of mine. The restaurant...WHERE CAN I GO TO FIND THIS RESTAURANT! I have a thing about exhibitionism in a restaurant. Such a fun scene to watch unfold. This was not a light read all the time. Eliza Gayle takes us deep into the character's heads, and it's not always a great place to be. Real life sucks and these characters felt real enough to make my heart ache at times.I am always impressed with Eliza's written voice. This was no different. There were quite a few passages I highlighted, just because the prose was so good. What kept this from being a five star read for me was I thought our heroine forgave our hero a bit too easily. She worked out a lot of her emotions in her head before ever going to him, but part of me wanted her to give him a better verbal lashing. Also, it felt like our heroine abandoned her urge to write. I wanted to see where that urge to write was going. Her writing felt like it was an outlet for her, and maybe I missed where that went, but I didn't see the transition move the way I thought it was going to.We are left with a HFN. M/f in a BDSM setting. Nothing like discovering you have submissive tendencies and coming to find the guy you never forgot turned into a DOM!You've sucked me in Eliza! Can't wait to see which Master is next. 4 stars.

Funny thing, I bought the ebook today, read it, LOVED it, then this evening I receive an email with a free copy, lol. Oh well. This is an exceptionally well written book about a couple exploring the beginning of their new D/s relationship.A few of the things not really addressed well was how a sub falls into subspace during an intense scene, how a Dom and a sub have an actual written contract that goes over hard limits and sets the parameters for what they want in the relationship.Tucker and Maggie are the main characters. Tucker has been a Dom since college, and is part owner of the local club Purgatory. Maggie is a psych professor who has spent the better part of a decade researching human sexuality with a focus on bdsm so she could explore her own, hidden, submissive desires. The main characters both have enough background to ‘know’ the rules for the most part, but for Maggie it’s theoretical as she’s only researched BDSM till now. Tucker has not had a D/s relationship for years and has a dark past coupled with his desire for Maggie makes him push a little faster. The most beautiful part of a good D/s relationship is when a submissive offers her complete surrender and submission to her Dominate. Many misconstrue this as giving up control, when in reality she holds all the power, she’s choosing to give it to her Dom. It’s a huge gift of trust.BDSM isn’t just pain and sex, its also about release and freedom. Being punished and being washed free of f your transgression is incredibly freeing. That’s where Eliza really shines. She weaves a very good story. She’s created these beautifully broken characters who together find a way to heal.Okay, all the super hot kink and sex doesn’t hurt.

I received this book as a gift from the amazing author and let me just say that this is the first book that I've read by the author and it certainly won't ever be the last! This isn't fifty shades... this is SO much better. The author uses so much detail in her story that you can actually feel like you're the characters. The character development is incredible and I'm so thrilled with this story. It's a BDSM story... and quite steamy.Readers need to be prepared to have a lot of pulse pounding moments as you read this book. I actually ended up rereading this as soon as I finished this because I enjoyed it so much. I am looking forward to reading more from this author as this is the first book of hers I have read.Every since sex scene with Tucker and Maggie are so intense, so vivid in detail, so wonderfully written... it feels so real. It's more than "seeing it like a movie" it's actually feeling the emotions and desires of the characters as your reading them... I cried when Maggie cried, I shivered when she shivered, I smiled when she smiled... and it came natural, it wasn't forced. I felt their emotions so much it was amazing. That's never happened to me in a book before. The plot was woven together beautifully, tying various aspects together in unexpected ways. The dialogue were beautiful - no one quite captures the emotions in an intense BDSM scene the way Eliza Gayle can. Character development was exceptionally well done. This is very much a romantic love story with a ton of little twists and turns designed to keep you on the edge of your seat, wanting more! Just like a good submissive ;) I can't wait to read more of Tucker and Maggie's story! I know I'll be reading it over and over again!

This was my first Eliza Gayle book and it will not be my last. Holy hell this woman can write a hot scene. Tucker and Maggie were friends in High School. Maggie dated one of Tucker's friends. They shared one amazing kiss that neither of them have been able to forget.Over a decade later they find one another on a stormy winter night. Tucker has demons from his past that he can't seem to escape. Maggie is recovering from a recent scandal that ended her 'not so perfect' marriage. They discover that they may have had all they wanted in a partner right in front of them on that fateful night back in High School and just never knew it.Tucker is the kind of man who will stop at nothing to earn, yes earn, trust and love from Maggie. He knows what he wants and he is determined to have her. He knows they could be perfect together if she could just open up and trust him. She calls the the Dom in Tucker.Maggie has spent her adult career studying the BDSM lifestyle. Maggie has denied her submissive tendencies her whole life. Tucker rescues her after she has slid of the road on a stormy night. He shows her what she can no longer deny, she is submissive and he can take her places she has never been before. This book is HOT! I love the chemistry between Tucker and Maggie. I love how he is sweet and kind to her and looks out for her while at the same time pushing her to open up and trust. Maggie is still reeling from her own past but she finds herself drawn to Tucker. I love the very real moments in this book and the honest and raw emotion. They try and sometimes fail to find happiness.5 Blazing Hot Stars! Can't wait to read the next installment!

It's so easy to see that a book has BDSM elements and immediately find the idea reading it intimidating. It's a shame. While I don't love all of the BDSM books on the market, there are some that are really, really good. Tucker's Fall is one of them.Prior to getting Tucker's Fall from Netgalley in exchanged for a fair review, I'd never heard of the author, Eliza Gayle. Now that I've read this book, I can't wait to order her back list.Tucker's Fall is a beautifully crafted novel. It's how books are supposed to be written. The characters are allowed to develop at a natural pace, it feature organic dialogue, and, well ... it's hot. While the story has sex in it, after all its erotica, I felt the sex scenes happened in a very organic manner and can't help but wish more authors would take note. Most importantly, it's a book I was a book I was able to read through in a single evening. I was engaged with the characters from the first page all the way to the last. While the book does have BDSM elements, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to friends who don't usually read that kind of story. The BDSM is very light and I didn't find anything objectionable or even embarrassing.

This isn't just a slow simmering book, its turned up on high heat all the way through. Entirely based on the world of BDSM, club master/owner Tucker reunites with a child hood heart throb, Maggie, who just happened to cause a major scandal being caught in a BDSM club in another state. Her then husband divorced her, she lost her job teaching and researching alternative lifestyles. The story is hot as heck, oven mitts are needed to hold your Kindle as you read about these two discovering each other and their mutual needs. Alpha male Tucker.. wow, sweetly submissive, (not) Maggie gives as good as she gets. I completely enjoyed this book, and while its not totally stand alone, if you wanted to stop with the series after just this one book, you'd have the story. However, there is a second book and even a third. Again, stand alone but leaves you wanting to read more about these incredible men and their journey with submissives.

I absolutely loved this story. I started by reading Gabe's story and realized it better to back to the beginning of Purgatory Masters. Now I found out there's a series before this, but I've been assured it doesn't impact this storyline. This is a steamy and intriguing book. Tucker is a former Dom who finally wants to be a Dom again once Maggie, a high school friend he kissed, comes back to town. There's a mystery in why he backed away from the BDSM club and lifestyle and he's troubled by his past. Others are troubled too about the same timeframe. Maggie got caught up in a scandal and lost her career, her husband, her prestige and so she's come home to regroup. But, she meets Dom Tucker who KNOWS she's a submissive. Then the fun begins. A delightful story that seriously kept me turning pages until it ended! Now I'm on to book 2 for more!

Tucker's fall is the first in a new series by Eliza Gayle. It is a very steamy story that leaves nothing to the imagination. I liked that there wasn't a lot of back and forth between the love interests. Both Maggie and Tucker are clear in what they want. There is a little bit of a freak out by both parties in different situations, but it is not drawn out as is the case in other romance novels. This book gives the reader a glimpse into the BDSM lifestyle. It shows that it is not all about whips, and restraints, but about trust and total responsibility for another person. There is an underlying story that is barely explored-leaving room for the next installments in the series. I look forward to the next novel in the Purgatory Masters saga.

Maggie is hiding out in her parent's cabin, trying to get away from the chaos surrounding her recent exploits at a BDSM club. When her path crosses the one boy from high school that she could never let go of, not only does Tucker break down her walls but also makes her realize her true submissive ways. But when this Dom starts to connect with his sub with more love than lust will Tucker be able to open his heart and let her in? or will the memoir he finds her writing end the relationship before it can begin? With characters that wore their emotions on their sleeves and a heart warming storyline that gives the insight of the BDSM lifestyle to the reader this was a fabulous book. I cannot wait to read more in this series.

Tucker kissed Maggie in high school one time. It must have made an impression because she is back in town and he wants her. This book will have your kindle smoking and smoke coming out of your ears and your heart pounding with pleasure. Keep a cool drink close by. This book is smoking hot with sex, trust, desire, romance, love, protection, strength, conviction and loyalty. If all Doms are like Tucker, sign me up! Of course, you know Tucker has a secret and boy what a great writing scene when the truth comes out. I was totally blown away. Awesome story.I love the way the story tells everything from Tucker AND Maggie’s perspective. Awesome. I’ve got to read this series now.

Maggie is a disgraced professor who was researching alternative lifestyles, namely BDSM. Having no practical knowledge of the subject, she decides to visit an underground sex club, only to be there when it is raided and gets arrested. There goes her job and marriage. Tucker and Maggie attended high school together and indulged in one stolen kiss. Maggie goes back home to lick her wounds and attempt to write a book about her research. Along comes Tucker and is determined to aid in her research, personally. This is practically users' manual for D/s relationships. Good character development and a turbulent romance with plenty of angst and sex. Very informative and entertaining!

This story is heavy on the BDSM, so if that isn't your thing then don't read this. I absolutely loved it! I loved the fact that there is a strong backstory linking all the male characters together. This is one of those books that I couldn't stop thinking about even after I had finished reading it. I loved Maggie and Tucker. I loved the depth of their characters and their personalities. I loved how their relationship grew. I could have stayed lost in this book forever and would love to see glimpses of their lives in the remainder of the series.I received an ARC of this book and I'm voluntarily leaving my honest review.

A few weeks ago I fell in love with The Purgatory Masters series by Eliza Gayle, I read all 4 books over the weekend. So when I saw she had a release Tucker's Fall and it was a branch off of Purgatory, I had to snatch it up and get lost within it. While the first 4 books, where short Novella, Tucker's Fall is a full length novel. You Don't have to read the first 4 novella to read Tucker's Fall. What I didn't realize, was that it was a trilogy and it had a cliffhanger!!! I now have to wait, to read the rest! *frowning*With all that said, this may be my new favorite Purgatory Story!!
