I bought it in July while out of town so I had a cord when I came home from a work trip (s/o was home to get it for me) but didn't start using it until a little over 2 months ago. Already messed up with the wires underneath showing. All I have to say it is no wonder they only have a one month return window because it breaks like a month after. Do not buy this product unless you plan on your cord literally never ever bending at all and being straight 24/7.
