I am writing a review for the ESR Zero Clear Case for the iPhone 15 Pro Max. Full disclosure I received one of these as a review copy. Design & Build Quality: This case is well made with no detectable manufacturing flaws. There are no seams or anything to critique about the build quality. The buttons work easily, the cut outs for the speakers are properly shaped, unlike some symmetrical designs from other companies. There are raised edges to protect the corners as well as small bumpers on the side of the corners to absorb some of the shock. There is one spot to put a tether, strap, or charm on the left bottom edge of the case. The rear camera protection is a full rectangle rather than some cases that have only two edges. The inner edge is beveled down at an angle. I’m not sure if there is a functional purpose for the bevel but is nice to look at. The inside of the case where the back of the phone would rest has a difficult to see texture of dots. My thoughts were that it would make it a little grippy. I used it for three days and am am unable to evaluate the anti-yellowing claims or the long term durability of the case. I will say it is very easy to get dirt or other bits of small material between the back of the iPhone and the back is the case. Additionally it does show finger prints and oils easily. Fit & Installation: The case fit the phone as perfectly as I could tell, and the installation was straight-forward and easy. Protection: The thicker edges of the corners and the lip surrounding the bezel seem to offer good protection, as well as the camera guard. It’s advertised as military grade protection, under certification MIL-STD-810H Method 516.8. My cursory research revealed this is an actual standard that is widely used and tests a variety of shock, impact, and fragility metrics. Functionality & Accessibility: The case doesn’t impede most functionality or accessibility of the case. The one thing that stood out is due to a lack of MagSafe magnet, you shouldn’t intend on using this with a MagSafe accessory that needs to be held in place by the magnet. The wireless charging worked fine, but trying to use my ESR wallet, my Apple MagSafe battery, or a slanted MagSafe base charger all weren’t possible. It doesn’t advertise this feature but it is worth noting for those who value the MagSafe functionality. Just to reiterate the Qi charging on a level surface worked fine. Price & Value: Considering the cost of the case, which was around 20 dollars at the time of this review, I think this is a good value for a clear, protective, durable case that can show off your new iPhone, if that is something that appeals to you. Pros and Cons: Pros: * Affordable * Visually attractive * Good protection for the phone * Buttons work easily * Easy to install * Appropriate cut outs and fit * Box advertises carbon neutrality * Lists the Military test used Cons: * Dust and debris seen between phone and case is easy to accumulate * Oils and finger prints show up easily * Not useful for a heavy MagSafe user * No grippy texture on the side could make it more difficult if your hands were wet or slippery to hold the phone Conclusion: If you want a clear and affordable case that doesn’t sacrifice durability this case is a great option. I’d be mindful of the installation to reduce any dust getting caught in the case, that might distract from the back of the phone appearance. But otherwise an easy purchase for 20 dollars USD ( on sale currently for 15.99) For MagSafe users, the lack of a bridging magnet should be obvious, but don’t rely on MagSafe as a connective force. The functionality is still there horizontally.

I’ve always been a heavy duty case user, but my iPhone 15 Pro Max just wouldn’t fit in the phone pocket of my small purse with the defender case on it. And since I rarely drop or abuse my phones, I decided to take a chance on this case, with the hopes my new phone could fit in its designated pocket in my purse. It worked! I like the feel of this case, it’s just the right amount of grippy and slick at the same time, if that makes sense. LOL The quality seems good also for the price. Button presses feel good and I have edge-to-edge screen access. I’m a little worried about the screen, since this case barely has any lip at all above the screen surface, but it pairs fine with my high-quality screen protector. I also purchased the classic version of this case, so if I get too nervous about the screen, I can switch them out. Another difference that made me choose to use this zero version over the classic is the camera area on this one covers everything except the circular cutouts for the lenses and flash sensors, whereas the classic version just has one big cutout for the camera area. I would definitely recommend this case if you’re looking for something slim and simple. Also, I like colorful, and since this case is clear, it is perfect combined with the wrap/skin that I installed prior to putting this case on. Keeps my phone skin protected from scratches and peeling while showing off my personality.

I've used this case on iPhone 16 for about a week now. It is pretty soft, which provides a nice grippy feel. I found the Apple clear case for my iPhone 13 to be very slippery by comparison. Magsafe charging works great. Cut outs for the camera button is spot on. Because this case is soft, the buttons are very easy to press, YAY. Fits great with the ESR screen protector. Corners have a bit of extra padding and camera seems well protected. To save on size and weight, the back is very thin so the Magsafe ring is raised. I thought that I would care, but after a week it hasn't bothered me at all. Due to the softness, if the phone were to fall face down across the middle, the case would deflect and allow the screen to touch the ground. For me, I don't think this happens often and I have a screen protector, so I am not concerned. I have no concerns about the case coming off at the corners during a fall. I handed my phone to a friend and he agreed that this case is very sleak and is less bulky than other clear cases. I am so glad that gave this case a try.

I ordered this case as a temporary case for my new iPhone 16 Pro Max while I awaited the case I ordered to actually use long term. For this reason I have used this case for the past 2 weeks. It is nice. The magnet is strong, it looks good, and has generally did the job I needed it for. If you are looking for a nice and thin case this might be the case for you. For me... It is very slick to the touch so I am always worried that I might drop the phone. It is very thin so I cannot image that it will provide a lot of protection in the event of a drop or serious bump. It has buttons that work well but are those cheap cutout type buttons that look a lot like they are connected to the case like the really old McDonalds Happy meal toys (yes you have to be older to understand that one, lol). It does not cover the charging port... Again, this is personal taste so if you use that port a LOT you may actual prefer this style. But, hey... It does look REALLY good and it covers the non-lens part of the camera for extra protection.

16 Pro clear case (26 grams) from ESR has everything expected from a case except a stand. (will use a pop socket instead of stand.) It is slim, affordable, medium weight and is MagSafe ready. It shows the beautiful color of 16 Pro nicely. It shipped relatively fast and apparently has a 2 year warranty on registration. Edge is just the right height - provides protection without being bulky. Only issue is the total weight of the 16 Pro - 236 grams with this case and glass protector included. This is totally Apple’s fault for making phones heavier and fatter to sell battery life improvements. They boasted Titanium design that cut weight with 15 Pro and then added it right back with 16 Pro! Notes for ESR: Get rid of the extra white magnetic piece below the MagSafe Ring, go for a unique design. And change the ring color to not stand out so much, it doesn’t have to be White. Finally, get rid of unnecessary text on left edge, bottom edge and on the Camera bump. All marketing text should stay on inside of the case.

Got this for the new iPhone 16. It's nice looking, fits perfectly, and is easy to get on and off. At the same time I bought the 3-pack of screen protectors, which included protectors for the back camera lenses (from a different vendor). The protectors and lens covers fit perfectly, too, but this iPhone case is such a perfectly snug fit, I ended up removing the lens protector, as the cover wouldn't quite fit in the lens area with the camera protector on. This case has a raised area surrounding the back camera lenses, so it's fine without it. Also, the 16, without a case, if set down face up, rocks a bit because of the raised camera lens area on the back, but with the case on it eliminating the annoying rocking when I set the phone down. I hope it's true about not yellowing but I assume it will; they all seem to eventually. I would definitely buy this item again.

We bought 2 of these for our new iPhone 16 Plus as we were tired of looking at all the cases and this one looked decent for a reasonable price. Figured we would use these then around Black Friday sale get something else. At first we both didn't like the feel of the case. It seemed slippery and easy to fall out of our hand. After using the case for a few days we were surprised at how it wasn't slippery at all. I put screen savers on the phones and they did not interfere with the case. I went to a local big box store to see what they offered. Turns out I liked this $10 case better than most $50-80 cases they offered. I think cases are just different than they used to be now that mag-safe is used. Anyway this is a nice case and you won't be disappointed.

This is my favorite iPhone case - thin, grippy and not hard on the hands, covers the area around the back camera lenses, easy to press buttons, MagSafe - slightly elevated but actually helps with grip and feels and looked great! The clear version shows off the phone color nicely. My one wish is if ESR released a version of this case with a cover for the camera control button - almost all cutout cases make it harder to press the camera control button and take pictures, and this case is no exception. This is the one thing preventing me from using this case regularly. ESR, please please release a version with camera control button covered!!

I always get a thin case for times that protection is not a need. This is my first case from ESR and I'm impressed. This thin case has real camera protection without interfering with the camera operation. The corners have been designed with a little extra protection. This is a first when compared to previous thin cases I've owned. And the price, seriously rock star awesome! I have a feeling this will become my primary case. This case feels good in the hand and the magsafe is a must. I can without hesitation recommend this case.

I have owned a number of ESR cases over the years, and when the16 Pro Max came out I was looking for a replacement. This model is very simple… No flashy colors, no built-in stand, just a simple clear case. The sides are smooth, and there is a nice texture on the MagSafe ring. I also appreciate that this case covers the entire camera section except the lenses. This may be the first case I’ve ever had that did that. If you are looking for affordable simplicity, this sleeper case from ESR is a great choice.

It's easy to put on and as long as you don't drop your phone camera side down on gravel, the lift over the cameras is perfect. For my fellow K-pop lovers or anyone who likes to keep things in the back of their phone, it does yellow over time and your things may move around occasionally but otherwise great. Mine looks like this after over two years of having it, the yellowing is only noticeable if you're looking for it or sometimes if you take the case off in the wrong light it looks worse than it actually is.

This case I think I got it for 12 bucks and I was amazed when I did get it and it arrived and I put it on my phone. For that price this case is amazing is very durable. It’s light it’s protective and I got the clear one because I have The new iPhone and it’s blue so when that case is put on my iPhone, it does show the color of my phone and I like that that’s a good feature to have it works just as well as the pricier ones, and if you decide to get it, I know you’ll be happy because I was and now

This is the grey version with my own skin ……Ok if you want total slimness and lite then this is it . I prefer this over the super lite carbon fiber cases because this has better phone coverage over all . And with the clear version of these esr cases you can put a skin on your phone that will show that’s what I did . Oh and grip is good not slippery like other cases . Now the lip for screen all around is really small but the 4 corners are raised pretty good so protection is not that bad .

This is exactly the material I was looking for, rubbery and protective for phone drops. Unfortunately the camera cut out did not fit over the plastic lens proctor I bought separately. So had to buy a different case that included both to ensure proper phone and camera coverage overall. I would recommend this case though if your just looking for phone exterior protection.

I wanted a clear case with camera protection so that I could decorate it by laying stickers inside, without actually damaging my phone with stickers. It also gives me the ability to change up the style and aesthetic of the phone case without spending a fortune on a new case every other week. I purchased a Magnetic holder to attach to the back. I love it 🤍🤩
