Within two weeks I had new growth on every plant I used this on - including my outdoor tomatoes and marigolds. These are some photos of the new growth on my house plants. — I read other reviews about the smell and made sure that when I used this on potted plants to water them until the water ran clear through the bottom of the pot. You will notice the water coming through the soil will be a dark brown directly after using this. Once it runs clear, it will not linger in your home or cause any odor whatsoever. I’ve only use this once and the results are amazing. I plan to use this every month and I imagine one bottle will last me six months to a year.

UPDATE: added 7 WEEK progress pics! My plants grew that much in seven weeks. I have 17 more plants showing this kind of growth, but these are the ones I have before pictures to show. The Golden pothos was struggling and was the same size for almost a year. I didn’t do anything differently except to let it dry out a bit more between waterings and I gave it something to climb. Neither of those alone would account for THAT much growth! The vine grew so long, so quickly that I was able to double it back into the pot and pin it with a stretched Bobby pin to layer it and make the plant fuller-i repeat-7 weeks!!! Wow!! Initially, I was dismayed by the size of the bottle. HOWEVER, this stuff is amazing! I’ve gotten anywhere from inches to a foot of growth in my plants in the months I’ve been using this. I have never, ever seen a fertilizer work so well! Planning to buy more to have on hand for my houseplant’s needs next spring. Thank you! Update-last picture is the marble queen pothos after one year. I’ve pruned her heavily three times!

This fertilizer works! I have a few small houseplants in my apartment, so based on the reviews I bought this. I mixed the tablespoon with a half gallon of water and used that to water all my plants. it's only been two weeks but I have already seen results. My aloe plant and oyster plant both sprouted new growth within a couple days and have not stopped! My two Chinese Evergreens have remained steady whereas before a new leaf was yellowing and dying almost weekly. I plan on watering once a month with the fertilizer solution and just using regular water in between. So far so good! Update 7/17/2019: I wish I had a before photo of this zz plant. This stem was literally a stub before I used the fertilizer. It slowly began to creep up but after I returned home from being away for 4 days I came home to it being this tall!! I made a large batch of the joy dirt with water as the directions indicate and just watered with that once in May and once in June. Now it’s July and it’s clearly doing well!

We have used multiple bottles of this for our houseplants. In powder form, it's easy to mix into water and has no smell, which makes it easier to use than other liquid plant fertilizers.

Really good food for plants. I have used it for flowers and tomatoes every two weeks. Great results. A little expansive but it worth the money spent.

All my houseplants are flowering like they never have before. Moving into spring, I just added a dab of this stuff to their water each week. They’re happy. I’m happy. Get it.

Oh my goodness. This is the goddess of plant food!!! I needed plant food for my two baby lavender plants in pots (bringing them in for winter) and the one was doing so well, the other...started looking a little frail. I needed plant food and just went on a whim with this and I’m SO HAPPY I DID. I did not think this stuff was gonna be a miracle worker or I would of took a before and after picture. I followed the directions and put some of this in water to give two my two plants. The following morning and I hit peaked at them and was shocked to see my little raggedy, wilted plant I’ve tried so desperately to hold on too and make better perk right up. It was like day and night. This stuff really works

This is my second time ordering and using Joyful Dirt. I am a teacher and had plants that were struggling after being in a classroom all year, and an outside garden that was doing ok, but not really producing much, with some plants showing signs of disease(yellowing leaves, spots). I used this as a directed by sprinkling around the base of my garden plants, and mixing with water for my house plants. It is incredible the new growth and greening of all of my plants! My tomatoes are producing flowers and baby tomatoes, my lima beans are producing and have shot up, as well as my peppers, lettuce and my corn! I bought this second bottle and used it lightly again and it is amazing to see all of my plants thriving, especially the ones I thought I was going to lose! Wonderful product, no sign of fertilizer burn, and I used it pretty heavily, especially the first time!

I ordered this product for use in my houseplants, some of which I have growing in only water (pothos, heartleaf philo, snake plant), so they do not get much fertilizer. I had been previously using the blue Miracle Gro crystalized plant food, which you must mix with water. I will say, it aesthetically looks better than the brown this turns the water, but I can see a huge difference almost immediately after putting the tiniest dash of the powder in with their water change. The leaves have perked up, look more green, and I am seeing new points of growth all over the place.In my other plants which are growing in soil mediums, I have also noticed a lot of new growth coming in. Most shocking is this pilea "Norfolk" I have, which I was given to rehab and has been on the bring of death and dropping leaves all the time. Today I glanced at it, about 4 days after I fed it, and it has new points of growth!I ordered this fertilizer due to its flexibility in use and I have to say that I like it a lot! I would recommend this to anyone who has plants, in or outside. I can't wait to see how it helps my plants outside once spring finally comes!

My Plants absolutely doubled in size when I started applying this to them back in the winter of 2022 At First I only ordered one ,and was kind of afraid to apply this to some of plants ,Then I seen how my plants looked and they well they responded.So I just took the risk ,and added to all 38 plants ..Everyone of them have Absolutely Loved this !! So I now have 2 bottles a month on a subscription service ,and my plants are thriving and growing so Beautifully.I am so Thankful I found this on Amazon .I Definitely Highly Recommend This for Plants of all Kinds !

We love this stuff. We use it on all of our house plants and our outdoor garden. The indoor plants look day and night better about a week after application. Love that it’s all natural too and don’t have to worry about any harmful chemicals. Been using this stuff for about 3 years now!

Before I ordered Joyful Dirt my sister who bought Joyful Dirt let me try some and after seeing the results I was hooked, or I should say my plants were hooked. It's made my plants flourish with vigorous growth and health. Thank you for making my plants look their best! A+ all the way!!!

This is the second time I order this product. The quality is good. My plants live it. I would say is a little pricy for the size.

My fiddle leaf fig plant was losing leaves. I started using this fertilizer and it's starting to look healthier. I've only used it for a couple of months, but I see improvement.

I got the bottle and used the fertilizer for my houseplants the next morning in my watering can. I followed the measurements on the directions. When walking past the plants in the late afternoon I had to take a double-take on several because they looked greener and so much perkier than I ever saw before. And they were pretty healthy plants to begin with. By the next day all of the plants were so much healthier looking, I thought. Then my daughter came over and we were sitting in the living room and she looked and commented at the Norfolk pine which she always commented looked “kinda sad”. She said, “wow, the pine looks so good! It’s so much more green and “happier” looking. “ Obviously, I shared the product info. I will definitely keep using the fertilizer. It does have a strong scent when you open the bottle but that to me says it has good stuff in it the plants love. And it dissipates when added to the water. Thank you for this great fertilizer!

This is my third purchase of Joyful Dirt and my House plants love it. I have used It on some outdoor plant which are suicidal and it has rejuvenated them as well.

My flowers were at a stalemate. I gave them a dose of this powder and within a week, they seemed to multiply and fill the planters completely so I thank you for a product that gave my flowers a big boost.

Just passed my one-year anniversary of becoming house plant obsessed and this is a great one-and-done fertilizer. If you want to mix your own and buy all the different stuff, be my guest, but this product makes it very simple to care for your green beauties very quickly with no fuss. All of my 20+ plants love it. Easy to use; I mix up 2 L and disperse among the majority, and dilute the rest for my string of pearls and more delicate babies. I have had no issues with burning and my fleet is bursting with new growth. One container lasted me most of the growing season; had to stock up for the end of summer, but Ill be ready for next year with what I have left. The price was hard to take at first (novice), but with how long it lasted me and the beautiful results, it's a great value! I don't see myself using anything else for my current flora family.

Photos of this product really wouldn't do any justice, so you will have to actually read my words (*gasp!) I bought this fairly recently to fertilize my indoor plants, as they are all quite old and need some love. This product showed nearly instant results on most of my plants. I was truly shocked. They are showing a vibrance I have never witnessed, including some things I'm propogating in just water. I thought I'd just sprinkle a little in the water and those leaves nearly doubled in size in 2 days! I bought some for my bestie after I saw the results. I wish it came in a larger size bc if you mix it in your water, you have to use 2 tablespoons a gallon, which is a good portion of the bottle. I will continue to monitor the effects and I hope it works out long term. At this point, I would clearly recommend. 🙌🏼

I had a Christmas cactus that was still blooming, but the foliage was getting pale and it just didn’t look terribly happy. I knew it needed a quality food, but didn’t want to inundate it (or my home) with chemicals. After much research, I decided on Joyful Dirt. The results have been fantastic! My cactus has bounced back! It’s been about 6 weeks since I first used it on the cactus and it is now bright green and thriving. I have begun to use it on my other plants (an English ivy, a peace lily, three aloe plants, and a succulent garden) and they all seem to appreciate it. I have changed nothing else in their care nor their location yet each one just seems happier and certainly appear healthier. I had a relative so impressed with their turnaround she purchased some for her indoor and outdoor plants.

It helped my dying Sago Palm take off. Now it needs a bigger pot.
