Pros: Easy to put together Comes with stickers so you can decorate it. Can take some weight. Does roll upstairs with no issue. Handle slides up easily to different heights. I put this together in less than 10 minutes and took it to get a case of water. I put the case of water in and rolled it out with no issue. Got it up some steps and nothing fell apart. I will say this, I think its threshold is probably a case of water. Also, the depth of this cart can't carry a lot. It can do just enough. This cart can not replace old-school laundry carts, but it can hold a lot. I do recommend this but not for huge loads of laundry or dozen of bags of groceries.

This rolling cart, once assembled, is a great addition to have. It can carry a lot of heavy items with ease, and it even comes with a lid (and then you can stack even more on it). The cart came disassembled when it arrived. I looked everywhere in the box for instructions on how to assemble it, but I could not locate it. I decided to try to assemble it without instructions, and when I expanded the bin, the instructions were placed inside with a sheet of stickers. When I began to follow the instructions, I noticed that they were very vague. Basically, it says to attach the wheels with the rod. The instructions fail to mention that there is a bar that can be slid on each side of the bin to keep it from collapsing, which I think is a good thing to mention. Overall, I think this cart just needs updated instructions placed outside the bin, and it would be perfect.

The folding/unfolding is pretty straightforward. I wish there was a bit more secure method to latch the bottom plate in place because it's not really held by anything other than gravity, and will come loose on its own (leading to the sides collapsing as well) if there's no load holding the bottom in place. All the plastic is not particularly lightweight, but on the other hand, once it's unfolded and ready to go, it doesn't really feel all that secure either. There is an overall wobble because of the loose fit of all the parts including the handle when it's fully extended. Collapsing it down is easy enough. The rollerblade-like wheels take up space but they are also easy to remove from the shaft if needed. Overall, this make it easier to haul stuff around if they are more than 40 lbs., but I am not sure I would use this and certainly not up the stairs for the full 120 lbs. that it's supposedly rated at. Quite frankly for the $90 price I was hoping for something put together a bit better. I'm wondering if such a device needs to be all-aluminum to be more compact, stronger, and more rigid all at the same time. I don't plan on using the lid as it doesn't add much value but it does add weight. I wouldn't recommend stacking things too high outside the boxed area especially if going up the stairs.

A Sceptical Customer

The density of the crate plastic is not as thick as other brands, however it is also not flimsy. I do caution, though, to handle with care. With that said, I would not fill this cart with very heavy items, although it is fine for groceries, etc. Assembly is intuitive and setup is a snap, however a sheet with instructions is included. Stickers were also supplied (I guess targeted for youth), and they are quite adolescent-like images. The pastel yellow is reminiscent of an Easter Egg, but that is a personal choice. What I liked most are the tri wheels as they are very easily removable for more compact portability. Lastly, I'm not a fan of the top cover. Yes, it securely closes over the open crate, however I feel it is the flimsiest of all. Therefore, you must take great care not to put anything remotely heavy on top it as it will crack and break. Conclusively, this does get the job done, however do not intend on transporting very heavy items as this cart will surely break. For every day shopping, its fine.

I like this cart a lot! I just wish the wheels were a little better on the stairs. It kind of just slams into each step as you go up which is obnoxious. Also, one of the clips on the side just won’t hold it shut when it’s folded up. Otherwise, this is one of my new favorite tools around the house when my body is having issues lifting and carrying.

This Foldable Rolling Crate for Stair Climbing has become my go-to for grocery shopping! It's a lifesaver for carrying groceries and boxes upstairs. No more multiple trips – I can now load up the spacious interior, close the lid for security, and even stack additional packages on top. When it's time to put it away, the folding mechanism makes storage a breeze. The wheels are removable for an even flatter profile, and the included stickers add a fun touch of personalization. This product is a fantastic value, considering the quality and convenience it offers. While the assembly was straightforward (practically self-explanatory!), the weight capacity seems a bit optimistic. The price tag of $88 seems a bit steep considering its limitations. While it maneuvers stairs well and folds flat, the weight capacity falls short of the advertised 120 pounds. For everyday grocery hauls, it works well, but don't expect it to handle heavy-duty tasks. If you're looking for a convenient grocery tote for everyday use, this crate is a good option. But for those seeking a truly heavy-duty hauler, it might be wise to explore other options that better match the price point.

I already own a similar rolling crate that I use transporting items between work and home, and I love the convenience of it. What makes this crate stand out is the back wheels which allow this to more easily be used going up steps and stairs. I think it will be very handy for my daughter in her dorm dealing with laundry and cumbersome purchases. It doesn't have the multi-directional rolling ability that my crate has, but the stair functionality is a bonus. It is great for going up; but it doesn't offer any benefit when going down stairs. That doesn't make it functionally bad, just something worth noting. That it can be collapsed and set up again quickly and easily is definitely a plus though. It is sturdy and well made.

Review for You

I recently tried the Easterville Folding Rolling Crate for Stair Climbing to assist my mother-in-law in bringing groceries into our split-level home, where stairs are unavoidable. While other rolling carts have been somewhat helpful for her, they do not fully solve the problem of carrying items up and down the stairs. Setting up the crate was incredibly easy and didn't really require any directions, although we did read them just to be sure there weren't any important instructions we might need to know. The yellow color, while not my first choice, actually looks like a cute buttery shade. The adjustable wheels do make it easier to go up and down stairs, but the very aspects that make it easily foldable also make it feel slightly flimsy. There is no way to lock it open, so the sides can and do collapse inward slightly unless something is holding it open. This cart worked well with smaller loads, but we also tested it loaded with a full flat of 40 bottles of water, which weighs about 45 pounds - far under the advertised 120-pound weight limit. The wheels splayed out a bit, and it didn't feel as sturdy as I would have liked. It managed to go up and down the stairs, but it felt wobbly. Keep in mind that while the front wheels turn well, the back wheels are fixed, so turning can be a bit tricky with a heavier load. Overall, I think this cart is great for lighter loads - say under 35 pounds, but I cannot even imagine it working for loads at 120 pounds.

This rolling crate is great for transporting groceries and other small items from my car to my home. The stair-climbing feature makes it easy to maneuver without having to lift it, allowing me to keep one hand free to hold the banister.

This is going to be a big help with packages, groceries, maybe my backpack when I'm having issues. It will carry a couple bags easily, but I may have to find something custom if I want something with handles to lift. The box lid pops off and does hang on the front of the box, a small hook hangs on the handle opening on the front face of the cube. These plastic walls aren't fancy, but the folding aspects are solid. They have internal structure, which can be seen on the underside of the lid - a diamond or square shaped grid of raised plastic which will provide extra stability as necessary. I don't think it will hold particularly heavy loads, but it will do well for most single errands that I can think of. The lid also provides a sturdy place to layer heavier things on top and fragile things inside. The wheels are great, and I hope they'll hold up long term. The triple-wheeled rear axle arrives disassembled, but the directions are easy and straightforward. I wouldn't have trouble reversing the process to oil the axle or wheels if necessary, or to store it flat. The two sides have sliding lock/unlock clasps to keep them fixed in place. The bottom is hinged, and just flaps down into place. It doesn't lock in place, but the weight of anything inside the box will keep it down. When folding back down flat, the side locks just slide back, the floor lifts up, and then there are clasps on each side that lock it down. The folded-up cart will stand up straight, but it's not stable and may tip over with the small wheels on the front not as solid as the triplets. The telescoping handle is very useful, but there's some small concern that it doesn't click into place at the top. There's a half-height handle which has small metal pegs to hold it in place, but the same is not true of the top. There's a push button on the handle which releases the pegs to collapse it, and the handle clicks into place again when fully collapsed. It would've been good to have the full-height handle click into place also, so I could hang a hanger on it or otherwise rest things against it.

So I got one of these rolling crates for me and one for my mom and we are both in LOVE with them! They are easy to fold up and assemble. They are light but durable, and hold a lot! I was able to fit mine and 3 kids worth of clothes for an entire weekend in one crate! This will be my new suitcase! The only reason I took one star off is that the price is VERY high. While it is a pretty durable rolling cart, it's still just made of plastic, so you do need to be careful with it. Like it wouldn't be durable enough to sit on. I think $40 is a more fair price for these rolling cart. But that's just my opinion. Otherwise I'm in love with this cart!

First thing I like about this is the wheels. They make it so easy to drag this cart up the stairs without banging everything inside and possibly damaging the contents. It took a minute to get it to not collapse on itself, but it did get there in the end. Folding it up to store away is another plus because it doesn't take up a whole lot of room.

This is a handy cart for carrying light packages, tools or other items for various task. It folds for easy storage so it can be fit into tight places. The actual construction is fairly light duty but works fine if you’re not planning on loading it with heavy items. The lid detaches and can be attached to the front of the cart. The front caster wheels set seems like a good wheel that should last. I am a little suspect of the tri wheel at the back. Not sure that will hold up long term, but we shall see. I didn’t have a chance to test it on a full flight of stairs so not sure how useful they are. The cart has sliding clasps that lock the sides in place. The bottom is folds down but does not have a locking clasp which I think should have been designed in due to price point. The cart will stand upright when folded. Last but not least is the telescoping handle which makes this cart useful which seems fairly sturdy. Pros: Compact Light weight Appears to be relatively durable. Easy to set up. Cons: Thin wall construction. No locking mechanism for the bottom of the crate. All in all, a good light duty cart.
