This shampoo works for reducing and eliminating psoriasis dry patches and scabs. Make sure you let it sit in your hair for a while before rinsing. I wait for about five minutes and have had great results. And no coal tar smell or staining!

My scalp was in great shape before using Kenkoderm, but the product I had been using for the past year was considerably more expensive. As a senior, I was looking to save some money, so I purchased a 4-pak of the Kendoderm and started using it in mid-April, 2022. I faithfully used Kenkoderm for a few weeks, but my scalp returned to a condition that was just horrible. I had open sores on the back of my head that would sometimes bleed so badly that blood stains could be seen on my pillow. Finally, after 4 weeks of patiently giving Kenkoderm a chance to work, I made the decision to return the remaining 3 unopened bottles for a credit. I visited my Amazon Prime account to start the process of returning the unopened bottles, and then learned that returns are only accepted for a refund if made within 30 days. "Imagine that!" I thought. I had patiently given Kendoderm a whole month to perform, and now my patience was being rewarded by a policy that basically said "you bought it; you keep it!". How tragic! BUYER BEWARE!!! If you are interested in Kenkoderm, my recommendation is for you to purchase only one bottle and try it for a short time before purchasing any more. As for me...my desire to save a few dollars has been quite expensive and very regrettable. I'm sticking with CeeEll-n. It's more money, but darn well worth it!

I have had issues with my scalp due to seborrheic dermatitis for years and nothing worked. I was getting so sick of the itchy scalp that was oily yet dry, scabs on my scalp, non stop itching, etc. I came across Kenkoderm shampoo and it has worked wonders! I use a scalp brush with it and it has worked wonders! I no longer have that non stop itching all over, with huge flakes of dead skin coming off. If you're having issues with your scalp and trying to find something to help you, buy this! Obviously, it's going to take several weeks for it to really kick in and make your scalp feel like heaven. I have had psoriasis since I was 6 years old, the only kid I know of that went to school with their head painted purple. Unfortunately it took until I’m a senior to find this shampoo. My head was a mess and nothing worked. I just had my hair done last week and my hairdresser was amazed because my scalp is psoriasis free. I just received my second set of four bottles so I make sure I never run out. Highly recommended!!! A little pricey, but in this case you literally get what you pay for. Excellent product.

This is good shampoo for psoriasis, but it's cost prohibitive to me. There are other options for very similar products at half the price. And, why four small bottles?

I have ordered this product--which definitely helps but does not alleviate scalp psoriasis issues--from Amazon before without a problem, however, this time when I opened the shipping bag, all 8 of the shampoo containers were covered with the liquid shampoo. When I checked for the leak, I found that ALL of the containers screw on tops were loosely screwed (some more than others) onto the body of the containers, creating the leakage. In my previous orders the containers had plastic tape (or shrink wrap) around the caps, preventing leakage. This time, the caps were not sealed. Don't know exactly how much shampoo was leaked in shipment, but Kenkoderm should address the situation for its customers.

The product works well for the advertised conditions. No strong scent, does not over-dry hair or scalp. Was surprised that the bottles only hold 4 oz of product each. Travel size. 4 bottles = less than 1 bottle of $10 name brand similar strength at CVS. While I like the product, the value for the purchase is very poor - so pay attention to the description. I would buy it again if the price was 75% less.
