Note that these pads are 1.5 inches in diameter so they aren’t huge pads. However they came on a roll that keeps them neat in the box which means they are not individually wrapped nor sterile. For the intended use, this is not a problem as the dressing should cover the wound and these should cover the dressing that covers the wound. The pads held really well all day and all night and other than a slight tug on the skin l, came off relatively pain free without adhesive residue.. The outside of the pad is fairly soft and was hard to it was on during wearing. I also am sensitive to adhesive and I do not have any reaction with the adhesive. I can imagine these working well on top of a very small folded gauze pad or very small cotton ball and maybe even to protect skin to prevent blister formation. However I haven’t tried any of the off label uses mentioned, just that I can see them used wherever you need to help something stick to the skin or maybe even protect a small area of skin.

These are designed to work with hydrogel pads, but I used them to cover up small burns or wounds which I had applied hydrogel gel (not the patch, the actual gel) or antibiotic ointment to. I dabbed the gel/ointment onto the wound then put on the patch. In the past, I've used band-aids to cover the ointment, but they either fall off (because of the gel moving around) or water gets under them when I wash my hands. This was a far more secure way of keeping an ointment on a wound. This adhesive tape stuck well around the wound/burn, but it didn't stick to the area covered by the gel. It worked especially well on small problems on my fingers (where I often get burns from cooking). They aren't the easiest to pull off, but they also aren't incredibly difficult or painful. For someone who gets a lot of small cuts or burns, these are a good way to apply gels and ointments and keep them covered for longer periods of time. They are also very good value for the quantity you get.

I thought these might be helpful for making small custom island style bandages on an as-needed basis, so was interested to try them. I like how soft the outer portion is, and the sticky side has good adhesion and no blank (non-adhesive) spots. Testing a pad on my leg, it layed completely flat against the skin and stayed on until removed. I had gone about my normal daily activities, later sleeping with this on, and it didn’t budge. As long as one doesn’t put too large of a bandage or hydrogel pad inside, it should stay well. When removing, I did need to tug a little bit, as these have good adhesion. It didn’t hurt pulling off of my leg, but if in a very sensitive area, it might require a bit more finesse. I like the adhesion, quality and multi-functional use of these Medagel Protective Knit 1.5” circle tapes. Thanks for reading.

The adhesion is not as great as I expected. Even without a hydrogel blocking some of the stickiness, it only holds to a knuckle for several hours (see pic after four hours). On a smooth body part, it holds pretty well. The pic of my arm is after 12 hours and a shower, and it is peeling up just a little. However, the value for the money is very good. You get 200 pads which will last a long time and you can easily replace any pad that’s coming loose any time. Also, this is a great solution for a foot blister. I used to use bandaids, which aren’t really meant for that. They are meant to leave a loose spot for a wound. This is sticky and flexible all the way across and is a cheap and simple way to protect a sore heel or any body part getting rubbed too much. Very useful and versatile.

Quite honestly, I have mixed emotions concerning the Medagel Protective Adhesive Knit Medical Tape to Secure Hydrogel. The pros are that they offer great protection for the hydrogel/ointment covering a wound. They are also ideal for blisters, whether on the heel, toe, or finger. They are enclosed in a neat little dispenser box so they are ready to be used without a lot of fanfare. The cons are not really that bad. One is the size, which is a mere one and a half inches. Of course, when used on the digits, that is not even a con. The other con is the adhesion. After a short time of wearing them, they start curling at the edges. These are the only cons so I only deducted one star. I would purchase them so I do recommend them.

These little circles are good for covering small cuts, blisters, even bug bites. The adhesion is good for a short period of time. After a while, these do start to peel up, but I don't feel like they're meant to last a long time anyway. You can get a few hours out of them at least. I've used them to cover a cut on my finger while I cleaned or washed dishes, and they're good for that. My wound was protected when I needed it to be, and these are just big enough to cover a small cut with some antibiotic cream on it. These come on a convenient little roll, and they're easy to apply. All things considered, I'd say these are a good value, and I'd get them again.

Work best over hexagels or hydrogel pads, which is what they're made for. The hydrogel helps them adhere better, since the hydrogel is also a bit sticky. These cover, and help protect the hydrogel pads, to keep them securely in place. Hydrogel pads won't stick to delicate injuries like blisters. When, used alone, they work fairly well on flatter surfaces. But, they'll kinda fold up along edges, and come off quicker, when used on movable areas, like fingers. They're very soft. They're not really intended to cover on their own. They may stick to raw, irritated skin, when used alone. But, you could use them for some things.

Since receiving these hydrogel pads, I have had so many little cuts, and these have been so appropriate and handy!! The cuts have been mainly on my fingers, but a couple of them were on my forearms. The pads stuck very well to my forearms, but I don't expect anything to stick to my fingers. For the cuts on my fingers, I put the pads on them and then covered them with fingercots...it worked very well and the hydrogel helped them to heal quite quickly! I love these little pads! These are made in Pennsylvania, USA.

These protective adhesive knit circles are meant to be used with hydragel hexagons. I was able to use these without the hydragels. I put triple antibiotic cream over a scrape and placed the circle over it. The circle does not adhere to the cream, so make sure to use neosporin or vaseline to protect your cut or the circle will stick to it. These stick best to larger areas of skin. They don't stick great to the area between your thumb and palm because of the amount of movement, but should be fine for your fingers.

These are much smaller than I expected them to be, and they only work okay for my purposes. I have a plantar wart on the bottom of my foot and my doctor prescribed me an acid pad to put over the wart, but it doesn't stick well so he recommended using tape over it to hold it in place. I thought these would be perfect, but they don't last more than a day without sliding around somewhere else on the bottom of my foot. Foot sweat is probably to blame, but still - disappointing.

There is no absorbent material like gauze on these so you really can’t use them over any sort of open wound. You could use them over a small cut or scrape, but put ointment on that area first to keep the adhesive from sticking to it. Handy for broken fingernails. I don’t believe that these breath either because of the full coverage of the adhesive. I put it in the medicine cabinet and will revisit my review later should my mind change.

My daughter gets a ton of blisters from certain shoes, and seems to get them a lot in the summer when wearing the popular rubber style kids shoe. These cover really well and have held up despite sweaty feet or water from the shower. They offer just enough of a barrier to keep the blister from rubbing and getting worse. These are a much needed addition to my first aid kit!

Not much to say here other than these do not irritate my skin and they work well with coverlets - that is how I am using them. They breathe and move with my skin. The roll is super handy and eco friendly as I am not peeling paper off of the individual circles. They are latex free and did not come off during a workout. These kept my coverlet cleaner overall.

These adhesive circles have surprisingly good adhesion qualities. Better than I had expected! They hold well will work with gels or would work with a very small gauze pad. They come on a roll, and are easily peeled off. Yet, they hold to the skin very, very well. I didn’t expect that they would maintain the adhesion over finger joints, but they do!

We ordered this Protective Adhesive Knit Medical Tape for our First-Aid kit, and plan on using it to help treat blisters, bug bites, burns, cuts and minor wounds during outdoor activities as summer arrives. So far one of the medical tape patches has been tested for ease of use and adhesion, both of which we're satisfied with..
