With most fields being converted to turf, I regularly get "raspberries" or scratch wounds on my arms and legs. I keep a small spray bottle of rubbing alcohol and these patches in my soccer bag. If I don't use them, the wounds often get infected by the time I get home.

I will be keeping these on hand from now on! Highly recommend. My son got turf burn from playing football. I did not discover these until 2 days after it happened. I received these on day 4 & used 3 patches over 4 days. And it was almost completely healed. Pic 1 day it happened. Pic 2 after 1 patch. Pic 3 after the 3rd patch.

Must have for turf burn! Easy to apply! Soothes the wound and helps with the burn. Great protection.

As physically active as our kids are, we keep a medical kit ready for all situations. Having gauze and bandages of all sizes is a must. I’m adding this TurfGaurd dressing as an alternative option for rug burns which they’re very prone to do, and now we’re adding gymnasium floor burns to the list due to inside sports. These are difficult to treat considering the larger area of open skin wound, so TurfGaurd is a no brainer. I like that the gel side of the dressing goes directly on the wound (after cleaning) so we don’t have to worry about gauze threads sticking anymore. This product could be kept on the wound for up to seven days, but we don’t do more than a couple days to allow for the initial pain & healing, then it needs to be exposed to air for natural care. I suppose the only complaint I have is that this product expects you to provide your own bandage wrap over the dressing. I find this is necessary to provide additional protection, to keep the dressing especially clean if worn for multiple days, and simply to act as a reminder for people to stay away. We have plenty of bandage wraps so this isn’t a major issue for me…but for those that don’t, you need to take buying a wrap into consideration of the cost. The price of this TurfGuard is a bit high at $3 per dressing already. But altogether the product works and it’s a unique solution for a specific wound type. A must-add now in our house.

These burn wound dressings are hydro pads that kill mrsa and staph. Made with x-static silver these burn pads cool and soothe the skin, promoting maximum healing. 6 wound dressings come in pack a good value deal.

In my house there are two girls of 3 and 4 years old, they are wild when they play. One of them fell on the sidewalk and scraped her knee. I remembered that I had these patches in the first aid kit and I put one on the wound after cleaned the wound. She liked it a lot because it felt cold and it calmed her pain. About two weeks later I burned myself cooking with the steam that came out of the pots... I applied those cream that are made to treat burns and that burning did not go away. Well, I remembered that the girl had told me that the patches felt cold and so I tried one. And OMG, yes, it feels very refreshing, the pain I had was greatly relieved, and after two days the pain was completely gone.

After scraping my knee on a run, I applied this after cleaning the wound and it was very calming. I do think it helped with healing faster since I otherwise would have to constantly reapply an ointment.

I managed to burn myself making Thanksgiving dinner, and I could not find my first aid kit with my burn gel in it. I was happy to see these available in the vine program. If you've never used these before, the instructions printed on the back of the package. They are simple and easy to understand. You'll need an ace bandage or maybe some surgical tape to wrap over the dressing to hold it in place; these are not included in this package. The price is a bit high, but for first aid supplies, I tend to err on the side of expense. Better to have them when you need them rather than hold off because of the price and then go without.

Unfortunately we had cause to use one of these almost immediately after receiving them. Mild turf burn from outside adventures to one of the kiddos on the knee required a test run on these. I’m happy to report that they work very well. Sloths fast and stats on without issue. No real issues of burning or anything abnormal and encouraged fast healing. Recommended!!

No matter what I always manage to burn myself while cooking for family get togethers. We had our Christmas party this last weekend since all the adults in our immediate family work Christmas Eve and day. And as pure usual I burned myself. I know these say for grass burns but these work wonders for actual burns as well. I cut just large to cover said burn with some wiggle room used some self adhering bandage wrap and called it a day. Here I am almost 3 days post burn and it feels way better than anything else I have ever used. Definitely recommend for the kitchen accident prone person.

These TURFGUARD hydrogel burn and wound pads are so much better than a regular bandage. I applied a TURGUARD hydrogel pad to my scraped leg and felt the cooling, soothing effect of the pad, which eased the pain in my leg. I also like that the pad contains X-static silver, which helped my injury heal quicker. The pads do not have any adhesive, so you need to use a gauze roll and medical tape to keep the pad in place. If you want quick pain relief when you have a burn or scrape, order these pads. some of these pads.

Luckily I haven't had to use any of these wound dressings, but they look to be good quality and would aid in the healing of turf burn and possibly other light wound injuries. I've already switched to hydrocolloid bandages when possible, which heals those cuts and scrapes much faster than traditional bandages. These dressings appear to be similar material with addition of silver/being antimicrobial so I imagine they would similarly speed heading of injuries. These are also made in USA.

These are great to have on hand for when, not if, you need them. These will go in our bag we bring to soccer games, and other outside sports events. When you get a bad turf burn, you want something soothing and cooling. You can cut these to a smaller size if needed. They are made in the USA. I have used other bandages/dressings from this manufacturer, and they are top notch.

We play lacrosse summer, winter, fall, and spring on turf fields and invariably one of our girls will get serious turf burn. These dressings will be key to getting them patched up and back on the field. The instant cooling relief and anti bacterial protection is a plus! Just remember you need athletic tape or some other means to adhere the patch.
