I've been sick with a bad cold that causes headaches. Last night the headache was bad enough that it woke me up and I could not get back to sleep. My wife brought one of these patches in to give me some relief. Here are my thoughts. I felt an immediate cooling effect, though the pain did not disappear. But, it brought enough relief that I was able to get back to sleep. That alone was worth 4 stars. As other reviewers have written, I am also concerned about minimizing parabins in products. However, it depends on how you will use them. these come in a box of 4, which to me such a small sample, means they aren't intended to be used on a daily basis. For once in a while relief, I think they should be fine--- especially if you are not using parabens in your shampoos, body wash, deodorants, etc. However, if you need to use these on a daily basis, then I think you might search for a paraben-free headache patch. These work for me, though in moderation (like everything else).

This is a great idea but I was left wanting a bit more. I was very excited when I seen these because there are many days that I just wish I could have an icepack on my head while I try and get through the workday. I received these and luckily didn't have a need for it for quite some time. Then one day, the need was there. I broke these out to try them. The patch itself is made of gel but feels a bit slimy. I stuck one on the back of my neck just below my hairline and the corners kept peeling away. I felt like I was using way more time trying to keep it stuck to me and it became more of a pain. I also expected these to get very cool, similar to a biofreeze or icy hot but they never got that cool. Maybe it will work for others but I am over it. I will go back to my trusty ice packs.

These are really easy to use and convenient for "on the go". I really wanted to be able to recommend them. Unfortunately, they do contain parabens. If you haven't researched parabens yet, its worth finding out why they may be harmful to humans by interfering with hormones. Pros: Good value. Feels like a cool washcloth on the applied area. No negative fragrance or burning sensation. No sticky residue. Stick just enough (not too much or too little). No immediate reaction even with my sensitive skin. 90% water means that these are 90% healthful ingredients. Cons: Hard to apply to migraine areas under hair (where a lot of migraines trigger) because of the adhesive Parabens (especially the propylparaben) discourage me from using these as often as I'd like.

These migraine patches are so easy to use. My husband put the package in his nightstand for easy access when he has a migraine. You simply remove the plastic backing and stick the patch on your forehead. It instantly gives you a cooling sensation that helps alleviate migraine pain. The patch is a rectangle it goes across your whole forehead. Cooling effect is felt for about 20 minutes, it’s gets weaker as time goes on. These don’t have any scent which is really nice. It can’t “cure” the migraine for my husband but it makes him feel much more comfortable and it’s convenient vs the freezer headband things that you have to remember to return to the freezer!

My husband had the start of a migraine the other day and so the timing of getting these gel strips delivered was perfect. Shockingly cool to the skin, I placed one on his forehead and he was able to fall back asleep. Combined with an OTC medication his head was much better after his nap. The strip is not reusable and he said he had some issues with it staying in place but is basing his happiness with the product on the absence of his headache a few hours later. I did not cut the strip down, though the instructions say you can. Easy peel strip and a resealable bag for storage.

Back in the mid-late 1990’s, I used a product called MIGRAINE ICE. It had menthol, came in a foil pouch and did what this did – adhere to forehead. I knew going in these didn’t have menthol which I’ve found to be effective in pain relief as well as relaxation. The problem is these just do not work – period. As others have said – adhesive issues. In addition, they don’t get that cold, and they just didn’t do anything for relief. I do better with two (2) Tylenol or Excedrin and a 2-hour nap. While they’re $5 and fairly reasonable – not for me.

The patch is actually quite short, not as long (across the forehead) as the pictures show. So I left it in the middle of my forehead for 10 minutes, then moved to one side, then the other. It is REALLY cooling, it felt great. I historically never had migraines but now I’m getting them all the time. So these patches have been nice. A few won’t go very far, though, so I’m looking into other options. Cooling roll-on bottles seem the best bet right now.

My go-to medication when I have a migraine is Tiger Balm. So far I haven't found anything to compare with it in terms of effectiveness. This "migraine relief patch" didn't work for me at all. It comes in the form of large bandages that you peel off and place over your forehead. I tried to sleep with one of the patches and my migraine never went away and bothered me all night. Nope.

This product comes in a resealable pouch, not individually packed. I had a migraine, this did not work to ease any relief. I believe this would be better for when I or someone in the family will have a fever.. This reminds me of the cooling forehead patch for kids that I had purchased in the past. So it should be better for a fever.

My neurologist suggested I pass on these because of the parabens. The concern was that my migraines are way worse during hormonal shifts, and parabens are hormone disrupters, so he just said, don’t. So I didn’t. They are cooling to the touch like cold hands or a cold damp washcloth.

I keep these on hand. They don't magically cure your headache, but they do help. Shipping was fast and arrived within a day! They are great if you have a headache and want to lay down because they don't fall off. Also good for a fever. Not heavy or too cold like an ice pack.

The main thing I like is the cooling effect. It's not as messy as a wet wash cloth which I normally try. The cooling effect starts instantly. No sticky residue left behind. It's really only good for one spot of the forehead. Helps with some pain.

These cooling patches did not really help with my daughters migraines at all. The cooling patches just felt like a cool gel but my daughter said that ice packs work better. She said she would not recommend this product to help with migraines.

I really like this product. Many manufacturers and sellers have a tendency to overstate the benefits. However, that is not the case this time because this product really worked for me. I have to give it my highest recommendation. Five stars!

Last night was the first time I used this for a migraine. Felt really sticky. Put it on my forehead and went to sleep. This morning the migraine was gone. The pad was easy to remove and left no sticky residue. Worked great
