But these patches did not stay put (slipped around) and did not afford me any more relief than other less expensive blister bandages. The cost of the Hexagels was steep, but I am ready to try anything to afford me relief from blisters. I read that in order for these to provide best relief, they are to be used in conjunction with the "Protective Adhesive Knit" patches for additonal cost. Theyku HAD to be good, right? Wrong! They did not stay in place at all and slipped off one toe. I was also testing two other brands I had never heard of, and I found to be much more effective at relieving friction and staying put. I did not put lotion or use anything other than the product. My toe blisters never quite heal because my toes are so crowded from bunions. Surgery did not help on one foot, so I did not have surgery on the other foot. I have learned to pad as best I can, or I will be hurtin' for certain! I am always looking for the Next Best Thing. Medagel claims "these patches are perfect for protecting against chafing, friction, and hot spots." Unfortunately, they did not protect my toes, they slipped around, and my blister worsened. So I will put them on my cat for amusement...or maybe use them for window decals.

I work construction and I am on my feet alot working with cranes for the most part. I have pretty wide feet that are considered a triple or quad E for an example not sure was told that by a shoe professional. Nonetheless I have used this paired with moleskin tape and wear then in my shoes all day anywhere from 8 hours to 15 hours and they have helped me alot with blisters and callouses I was getting from my feet constantly rubbing on my shoes. You may ask why not get different shoes welp I have tried a mas majority or steel toe and composite toe saftey shoes and have yet to find any that don't rub even custom steel toed shoes from whites didn't work but the hex gels and moleskin have saved my feet immensely. I haven't not taped my feet with the gels since I ordered them very happy I discovered this from a ballerina on tiktok okay hopefully someone enjoys this review and relates.

Bought these to use with this company's bug bite patches. Those work, but I found I can't use them too long otherwise the medication on those cause irritation to my skin. These just have aloe on them so it's soothing and initially very cooling. I also like that it forms a protective layer to stop me from scratching. I found that these stick fairly well, but it's going to depend on where you put them. I put these on freshly-washed skin (with no lotion) and so far they have stuck and stayed on overnight and into the next day. I think the staying power depends on how much friction you have and how "flat" the skin is. Since I placed these on my outer calf, it stayed covered with my clothes and stayed in place. I can see if I were to put these on high-friction areas (such as the back of my heels for blisters) or around fingers for a burn, they would not stay in place.

I had high hopes for the Medagel Hexagels Plus Aloe Vera pads—they seemed like the perfect solution for protection and treatment. However, I have to be honest—it didn't quite live up to my expectations. At first, they seemed comfortable enough, and I appreciated the added bonus of aloe vera. But unfortunately, they just wouldn't stay in place. Every time they shifted, it left me with blisters in all the wrong places. I even tried using tape to keep them secure, but it still didn't do the trick. I really wanted to love these pads, but in the end, I was left feeling neutral about them. While they may work for some, they just didn't work for me. It's disappointing, but hey, not every product is a perfect fit. If you're considering trying them, just be aware of the potential for movement and adjust accordingly.

EDIT: shortly after posting my original review, the product team reached out to me. Not only did they stand by their product to the extent they issued me a full refund for my dissatisfaction, they also educated me a little on how best to use the product (with adhesive tape to hold the gels in place). It would be super convenient if they were designed to stick by themselves, but they are not so my expectation for them to do so was unreasonable. So if you read the instructions carefully and know what they can and can’t do, then I would amend my review to say these puppies are pretty good: they deliver what they promise. Original: I used this for relief on chafing spots and the cooling, soothing effect was instantaneous. But they did not stay put never with minimal clothing/fabric rubbing against them.

Love the concept of this product for my daughter who’s prone to Skeeter syndrome and often complains about how itchy the bites are. I’m disappointed though that the container came opened. Whoever put it in the box at the warehouse couldn’t have missed that the TWO seals were obviously broken. I tried to reach out to exchange the item but since it wasn’t purchased through Amazon there’s no returns and no exchanges. Basically I’m out $30 which is pretty pricy for an item I wouldn’t have purchased already opened. UPDATE: The seller reached out and sent a new product. My kids used these on their mosquito bites and it helped relieve the swelling and itching. Very happy with the product!

I have problems with my fingertips cracking, especially in dry weather. Nothing seemed to help and it can be painful and frustrating. I purchased these and some cohesive wrap bandage and I am happy to say I have finally found the solution! They feel cool and spongy on a sore fingertip providing a lot of relief. I used one yesterday, then put on another to sleep in and when I woke up my finger felt so much better and was almost healed. They do not stick well on their own on a fingertip but that is not an issue for me, I just use the bandage. They might stick better on a flat area but if not, just cover it with a bandage. I will never be without these.

I have used the traditional silicone nose bridge pads in the past, and for me, the Hexagels are a big step up. I only have a problem right on the bridge of my nose, and these cover (barely) that spot. No leakage I can detect and none showing up on the reports. My nose isn't red and sore in the morning. They stick well, though occasionally they do slip off, and if you remove the mask during the night they might also slip off then - but sometimes in the morning they stay on all the way to the bathroom. They fit my small nose well, but could stand to be a touch larger, particularly for those with huge honkers.

EDIT: Seller saw my initial 1 star review and reached out to me to make it right. New container was sent. Now that I've had a chance to put these to the test I can say I'm very pleased with the product. Got a few bug bites, covered some with these hexes, left some exposed. Huge difference in the itching and healing. I'm allergic to mosquito bites so this will now be part of my permanent medical bag. My container arrived with the safety seal broken. No telling if these were contaminated or used so I returned them. They seemed like a good idea but ...

Great for use for my kids! When their mosquito bites itch, these Hexagels are cooling, soothing, and certainly keep all four of my kids from scratching the bites. I do find that for my youngest children, twins age 6, I do have to tape them on with gentle "blue baby tape", so they won't want to play with them and remove them as quickly. My oldest kiddo is 10, but these Hexagels still have a "wow" factor to all four kids. Creating open wounds by scratching repeatedly can lead to open invitation to infections, especially impetigo.

These are amazing!!! It's important to know though, there are two pieces of plastic on either side of the blister pads. One is blue and obvious. That is the side to put on the blister with all the good ingredients. I never read the directions, so it took me a while to discover there is a clear piece of plastic on the other side of the pad. You need to remove that also, or the pad will not stay in place, whatsoever, and the pad will not do you any good. When you remove both pieces of plastic, these are a foot dream come true.

I bought these because I had cracked, sensitive nipples from pumping round the clock and a hunch these would do the trick. Ladies. These are where it's at. They're way cheaper than any large gel patch and while they're easier to lose, they're easier to replace since the pack comes with a million of them (don't remember the actual count atm). They're not gonna work for any areolar pain since they're little. But for the actual nips? Undefeated. Instant relief. Total comfort. Great price.

I had been having problems with diabetic wounds on both my forearms for about 6 months and the pain had gotten very severe. After trying every medication that claimed to heal the wounds I was about to give up when I found these. 6 months of open painful wounds were healed in 2 days, I couldn't believe it, how could something so basic and simple heal these wounds so quickly and as soon as I put them on the wounds I felt immediate relief. I was astounded and will be a customer for life!

The mosquitoes here are brutal and we’ve tried so many different sprays/gels that have a cooling effect to reduce the itchiness but this is better by far. I store them in the fridge, when we get a super itchy mosquito bite we put one on it. Completely mess free and no over powering scent that comes with a lot of the sprays, no waiting for it to dry and actually cools it much more effectively and longer. I wish I would have used these years ago already!

They were exactly as described! They are small but the whole size is the cushion there was no edging to cut down on the area that works. They stay in place without a problem at all even on the side of a foot inside of a sock and shoe we're Band-Aids have not worked and tape has not worked! Don't have anything negative to say about them it would be great if they came in a larger size but you can use more than one to cover the area necessary
