I had a hard time finding truffle oil that shipped free to Vienna, but this has become a go-to item for me. I throw a lot of dinner parties and I use it with the mushroom risotto recipe in my thermomix (the recipe that uses fresh mushrooms, not the dried mushrooms). For 4 people, I use about half of the truffles and drizzle oil on top and put the rest chopped into an olive oil that I have infused with the spare truffles. I then use that as the cooking oil for later batches. For parties of 6 to 8, I used all of the truffles and oil on top of the plated dishes. (Note that I use 1.5x the thermomix recipe and launch each cooking process twice. You have to finish it on the stove for a short bit as the thermomix is not up to the task). To say that the reaction of my guests is amazement is an understatement.
