This clay is gentle enough for my dry/eczema prone skin.

Brazilian Clay Review I'm absolutely OBSESSED with this clay! I normally have regular, somewhat predictable skin that has a few acne bumps here and there, but not really noticable unless you're within nose length to me. Breakouts during my cycle are normal but they usually aren't too bad and will generally go away within a week or two. This cycle? I had white heads and multiple deep and very hard cyctic acne bumps! I was horrified! What was even worse, nothing seemed to make them bugde! Hormonal acne is a different kind of monster and nothing, even multiple daily applications of various clays, even fill strength bentonite mixed with undiluted raw apple vinegar with mother did absolutely NOTHING! I'd see maybe a 2% difference by the end of the week and my face was actually burned, raw and dried out something serious but those bumps had nearly zero change. Not in size, texture, nothing! I had a small sampler of the purple clay from an order I made for a family member a long time ago and was surprised they still had it out in the open. I figured it wouldn't hurt to try something else since this acne wanted to be invincible, so I just added a bit of water, let it sit for about 10-20 minutes and was actually disappointed at first... Why didn't it pulse? Did it even work? I held on to a little hope that not all masks feel like they're working and prayed I saw a difference the next day. What did I see when I woke up? The whiteheads had shrunk considerably, they weren't white anymore and the cystic acne had gone down by almost 40%!!!! They didn't hurt as much and still had some firmness but didn't feel like tightly packed pockets under my skin. Within a few days, you couldn't even see them on the surface of my skin. A few more days, I couldn't feel a trace of the pockets under my skin! My skin looked smoother, brighter, and much happier! It didn't give me miracle glass skin and didn't completely correct my skin texture I had before the breakout but my skin was very noticably better and wasn't congested at all! I also bought some oils to try, which my skin is equally as obsessed over, but this clay has worked like a dream! Now I use it every single day and so far, my skin isn't being dried out by the daily applications, even without humectants like honey or glycerin added. This clay is a God send, and I'm loving the sample of White Clay that was included! I will be trying that next and working my way through the clays and oils available, my skin and body have never been happier!

I received this clay as a sample for someone else. I had a horrifying breakout, as well as trying some new makeup products that were clogging my skin. I had white heads, hard cystic acne pockets, very inflamed and pronounced bumps all over my whole face! I tried full strength bentonite clay with apple cider vinegar masks and they only worked by maybe 3% each day. My skin was extremely dried out, angry and painful, so I tried this. My skin started to heal! I don't think it works for everyone as a primary acne eraser, I feel it's more of a soother. I use it like you would a toner for your face! I wouldn't use it to wash my face but it works wonders as a helper! After I use something like bentonite, rhassoul clay or white clay (add that to your cart, it's a Godsend!) that pulls things out, I use this by itself and that seems to be the perfect aftercare! As though it clears up the residual debris and sooths/smooths the skin! I absolutely adore this clay! Its a staple in my house and if it doesn't come from Chica, I don't trust it! Highly recommended!!!
