Ucuuba has a very earthy faintly sweet scent. It’s a great substitute for beeswax & can be utilized to harden other butter blends. Since it’s such a hard & stiff butter, it’s not one I immediately use directly on skin. I use the double boiler method as it melts at over 120F. After it cools a bit, I slather it generously on my skin because it provides soothing protection & helps with inflammation from achy joints & muscles to acne & scalp dryness.

A must have for butters
I love that I can replace beeswax by using this oil in my formulations which also makes my vegan customers happy. I love using it all by itself on rough skin and on the tips of my hair. It blends very well with cocoa butter and Shea butter as well. Holds essential oil sense nicely. If you're a formulator this is a must-have in your formulations. I use 1:1 in formulations I call for beeswax.

Elderberry Butter
I used Ucuuba and some other butters along with Maracuja, Soursop and Guava oils from Chica’s products to make this Elderberry extract infused body and hair butter. Smell is wonderful and the texture is smooth and light. Leaves my skin super soft and when I spray some fresh Rose water over top I get a hydrating glow. Love love love these products.

Tucuma butter
I use this in a formula I have been making for years. Since switching to Rainforest Chica's butters, the performance of my product has improved substantially. I will NEVER go back to using someone else's butters even if they have a sale. It is not worth it!

Awesome
I use Ucuuba butter in making my lotion bars and have been using it for quite some time now. Tried to substitute another butter when I ran out and it did not work well. Leaves my skins soft and supple and gives my bars a great texture.

Another Favorite
This is amazing for the face...probably everywhere else, too, but I don't waste it on everywhere else, it's wonderful for dry, dehydrated skin and the way I use it, helps fight dark spots and patches.

Unique but beautiful
Ucuuba is a unique waxy butter. I am not new in using this butter. I make hair cream from it, and it gives my cream the slip and light hold I’m looking for on my curly textured hair🤩😍

Wonderful butter
It helped to reduce and eliminate my skin inflammation. Ucuuba blends well with other butters and oils. My eczema skin and kinky, curly, coily hair absorb it well. I love it!

I mix this with some of the other butters I only buy from Chica and my dry skin is highly moisturized, soft with a beautiful sheen. :) I love all of her butters.
