This review is for “ Niacinamide Serum, Vitamin B3, With Hyaluronic Acid (500ml)” by HollyBerry. I am gobsmacked with how good this is. I have dehydrated, oily skin that is also acne prone unfortunately so, my skin needs moisture but I can’t just apply anything otherwise I end up in painful breakouts. HollyBerry’s Niacinamide serum with hyaluronic acid does the job nicely. On first application my dehydration fine lines reduce so you see results from first use. I have noticed the appearance of my skin improve over the course of the last 11 days and oil production diminish. It’s by no means a cure all so, if you stop using it you will still have the same issues because you just can’t change genetics. With continued use you will see the cumulative benefits. One small note, this did leak a tiny bit during delivery, for the amount of product you’re getting though it really is negligible. Overall, fantastic value for money, I’m looking forward to trying other products from HollyBerry.

I knew that the beauty sector was awash with so many products dealing with skin care and having tried Hyaluronic acid eye patches, this was the next step to work a larger facial area. Like many other reviews, i was expecting a liquid, but its actually a much easier to use gel like substance and following the simple instructions, of wash area you wish to hydrate, clean and dry first, then apply a few small drops and then lock in with a moisturiser. As i have a few helpers in the house and others that love this kind of pampering, it was very easy to get this done and i have to say the skin feels better than moisturiser on its own and its certainly lasting longer. I am doing my treatments at night and this bottle even shared between two or three in one household is going to last a long time, its a 500ml bottle. We've had no bad effect from using the gel, my only slight reservation and concern is that the percentages of the ingredients are not listed on the amazon selling page or the bottle itself, that might affect someone's decision to purchase. Other than that, its a very much welcome product to keep the moisture locked in and skin feeling much better. Overall very happy

This is a big bottle of Niacinamide serum with Hyaluronic acid. I did a test patch over a couple of days and all is well so today i used it on my face, as directed, and i must say i can feel the difference in my skin. My skin feels smooth and moisturised, and not in the usual 'i've just applied moisturiser' way. I don't know why but i was expecting a liquid and it's more gel like than that. It doesn't take long to soak in and leaves no sticky residue so you can add your normal moisturiser soon afterwards. The large bottle is a great value way to keep costs down and you can always decant into a smaller bottle.

Normally with serums the concentration of actives is clearly indicated on the bottle so I know I'm getting x% Niacinamide and y% whatever else active is used (in this case its Hyaluronic acid but I can't recall seeing these kinds of serums with the concentration noted). I was disappointed that this extra information wasn't put on the bottle and that makes it harder to know if someone more sensitive to Niacinamide can safely use this serum without getting a reaction. Another thing I didn't like was that commonly with other serums with Niacinamide and Hyaluronic acid, water is the first ingredient and there are often other ingredients like glycerin added which helps with hydration in addition to the Hyaluronic acid. In this serum both actives Niacinamide and Hyaluronic acid are first in the list before water, I suspect the concentration is quite high but it's hard to ever know. I felt compared to my drugstore serums the ingredient list on this falls a bit flat for me. In terms of use though, the serum is nice. I haven't had any reactions. My skin looks bright and feels soft. The texture is a bit thick but it spreads easily and doesn't make subsequent layers of skincare pill. My only issues with the serum is the lack of transparency with how much of the actives I'm getting. It's great value for money though since you get a giant 500ml bottle whereas traditional serums are around the 30ml mark.

You get 500ml for just under £24. I have never heard of this brand before. It comes out as clear semi-gel liquid - like a clear hand soap. I tested a small sample and it did not cause any skin irritation and absorbed well. I will need to test this over a number of weeks to know how well it works. I will try to report back after this.
