Ascension is one of the best NAF CD's I've heard lately. It's mellow with a great guitar and instrument accompaniment. From the first cut, Mind's Eye, to the last, Synergy, this album keeps a melodic pace that is easy to listen to and feel. The music and arrangement is very peaceful, Colorful sounds that flow from one track to the next. You will be thrilled to have this CD. It's some of Jan Michael & Looking Wolfs best work!

Reminiscent of some of the earlier albums from Looking Wolf, in particular One Heart One Spirit. Some music just fades into the background of our busy lives, but this album really provokes thoughts and a searching for meaning. This is a great album!

This album is just what i was looking for. The melodies are absolutely beautiful. Not super fast. This is my kinda music. Did not think i would find another album that i liked as much as the best of waynawari. But i did...Jan Michael Looking Wolf you have a beautiful God given talent. Thank you for such great music!

The Ascension CD has been a lovely blessing and a source of inspiration in my life. Following the wrongful death of my dear sister, Deb, my weeks had been so very bleak... Late one night I was searching for a gift online and came across the Ascension video that begins w the image of a wolf. My sister had a deep respect and attunement with wolves so I was immediately drawn to it. The musicality, sensitivity, sobriety, blend of instruments was so deeply satisfying that I ordered the album. From start to finish there is a level of artistry and variety of sound that is so very appealing to my nature - I welcome each song, especially the cut also entitled "Ascension". The album notes say that this music was dedicated to Ryan Kelly Beauchamp who crossed over in the year 2000. As I move through this time of grieving I find that this album has a special quality of holding the space for me to be with this parting process. With a full range of emotions I revisit precious moments shared with my sister, honor her life, be with my sadness and feel her in my heart. I played the album once again tonight while preparing and eating dinner - and felt a quality of peace for the first time in many moons. Jan Michael Looking Wolf, Odell and Matthew, thank you !
