I got this flute about a year ago and I still pick it up often. For me I choose this flute when I’m feeling more energetic. It really matches high energy or rapid rate of play. This flute responds very quickly and does exactly what you want. This flute is effortless and fun. The 432Hz is a subtle difference as mentioned in the description. Though when playing with others with instruments tuned to the classic 440Hz you may notice the difference. This can be pleasant. This is a beautiful work of art and an excellent instrument.

I have three other flutes by this company. They are all beautiful and have great sound. This earth tone flute is richer and suits my ear perfectly. It is very subtle, but it does have a warmer, more thoughtful sound. Beautifully made. Beautiful sound. These guys really know how to build a beautiful and great sounding flute. I have not been disappointed in any way with all four flutes I have, or with any of the flutes I have sent as gifts. A great source for the best flutes I can find.

Amazing! Gorgeous sound! I love it as much as I do my other High Spirits Flutes, but it's tonal quality is a little more mellow than my other flutes - maybe because of it's 432Hz and/or the Aromatic Cedar it's made of. It's very easily responsive from low notes to high notes, and just plain easy to play, producing ethereal clarity of sound, compared to another aggravatingly breathy flute brand I used to own and was difficult to play, although I mastered it anyway. I don't need much force of breath to play the High Spirits Flutes. I highly recommend this flute and F# Minor key to anyone who wants to play a close-to-nature or 'earthy' wonderfully awesome and magically musical flute!
