I love it and I love it, the sound of the drone adds depth to what I am playing. This is my 3 High spirits flute and and can't get enough. I'm a beginner and picking it up at a decent fast pace. I had no idea it would be this easy and surprisingly peaceful to play. I'm Ordering a Condor I key of E. I have a lot of playing to do, it's just so peaceful. Thank you High spirits

This is my 4th HS flutes and still one I play most often. The reduced length and streamlined design makes it so outdoor friendly. I also found the fipple design allows long playing without wetting out. So it’s best of both worlds. As many mentioned, the sound is beautiful and deep. What is not to love ?

This is my very 1st double flute and my 8th flute in total from HSF. Honestly, I had difficulty deciding which of the 3 double nova flutes I wanted. The F# truly won my heart over. This flute has a great core to its voice and when the drone and melody sides connect and work together......absolutely blissful. Thanks again, Odell.

This flute and I have been together less than a week now, so the honeymoon has barely started! The six-hole side has a bright tone, perhaps not quite as mellow as my F# Golden Eagle, but a surprisingly lovely tone for a flute of this length. And when I bring in the second tone, whole worlds of possibility open up. Moving from the "solo" sound to the double-toned sound and back gives an wonderful contrast of sound. The extreme portability of this 17" flute with no fetish means I can take it with me almost anywhere without worrying about it. All in all, a very different experience from my five other flutes and a delicious expansion of what and where I can play.

This, being my 7th High Spirits flute, has a wonderful warm tone. It’s hard to do anything else but play these flutes! The double F# minor Nova is of perfect concert quality whether playing the single note side or with the drone. Nice touch with the feather carving too. My daily meditation with HS flutes keeps me sane in this crazy world. Much gratitude -Odell Borg is a master craftsman!
