This is an excellent addition to your Native Flute resources. The spiral book makes it easy to stay open on the correct page while playing; keeping your hands and focus free to just play. The songs are an excellent assortment and the Native American Flute is the perfect flute to play Christmas songs. I actually made a homemade CD with many of these songs. These songs are easy, fun, and festive. I found that the High Spirits songbooks actually helped me learn the different scales because the scales were applicable to a familiar song. The accompanying CD, I feel is the best one of all the songbooks, this songbook and CD are an excellent gift, resource for the amateur and the serious player. I strongly feel that this songbook is a must for your collection (as well as the 4 books).
