I just received my second High Spirits flute, a Condor Bass D, and I am so happy! It is a beautiful work of art with a lovely voice, and mild scent of Cedar. Definitely the best in my collection! Ordered and received in just a few days from Arizona to California! Thanks to all involved in the process from crafting, to delivery, you have absolutely made my day! Merry Christmas!

This flute has both beauty and a wonderful voice. It has become my new favorite flute. I can’t put it down.

When I first decided to get a Bass D Flute I lived to far away to try the three D’s and make a choice. Being concerned about the difficulty of the bass flutes I was going to order the one with the small bore. Then I ran into a flute player who only played base flutes. She said, “yes, they are harder to play. Get over it! So, I decide to get over it. Now, the choice was between the walnut and the cedar. I wanted a mellow sound and ordered the cedar. It was just what I wanted. I’ve had it now for over six months, have no difficulty playing it —love it. It must be played with a soft touch.

I fell in love with this flute, the sound and low tones just gives a lovely feeling. The details on the flute is amazing and beautiful. It was hard at first playing with my small fingers, but I eventually learned to manage the flute. I am very happy with this purchase. Thank you for doing such a marvelous work! for me it was love at first 'sight' or rather, the first time I played this flute (The Condor Bass D) in the shop, I really fell in love with the sound, the playability, the tone and the look of the instrument. This was the reason, when my wife saw/heard me playing the flute, she bought it as a present for me for fathers day... :-). Thank you Mr. Odell Borg for making such nice and good instruments. This Condor Bass D han an magical. soothing and mediative deep voice, was a Little hard for me in the beginning to play with smaller hands, but after some practice and some stretching :) I play this flute very well..... My exemplar got lots of nice golden sapwood patterns and I LOVE IT !! Kind regards, Pär from Sweden
