Let's cut to the chase--Mr. Borg has created a wonderful, affordable piece of art that makes playing beautiful music a reality to all. I have played piano for over 20 years and know music theory inside and out. I've wanted a wind instrument to take hunting or camping without putting in another 5 years of learning. I started listening to native american flute in my truck to and from work to decompress and thought to myself, I wonder how hard it would be to pick up said flute? After pouring over utube videos and flute makers, I stumbled upon Odell Borg's tutorials which led me to highspirits.com web page. Before even purchasing my first flute from you all, I ended up watching all of his series of flute lessons. With your current sale, I pulled the trigger on this 432 Walnut in G after listening to the voices of many flutes. Upon opening the box, I loved the woodsy smell right off. When I pulled out the flute, I was immediately drawn to the attention to detail on the drilling and accentuated markings. As a perfectionist in nature, I knew this was a quality piece. With all of the lessons I learned from Odell beforehand, such as kissing the flute and proper breath control from each hole, I had chickadees and sparrows landing on my head, golden eagles circling, and coyotes howling in the back field within 10 minutes! In all seriousness, this is a joy to play and I am most grateful. The only drawback now is how to convince my wife to allow me to purchase the Golden Eagle in F#m?!

I have two other flutes by Odell- one is Sparrow Hawk, one is Lookiing Wolf Signature flute, and one from another artist in Seattle. I cherish them and their quality of sound very much. I am very sensitive to energy. I am attuned to Reiki, and practice yoga and meditation. I get so much joy out of playing these flutes. Still I felt there was something missing. Then I purchased the 432HZ tuned Earthtone flute and I found the missing piece. This flute has such a sweet, well rounded sound and when I play it, even during a minor, sad song I do not feel sad myself! Such a positive feeling it gives to the hearer! I realized then that in the new tuning of 440HZ at the beginning of the 20th century there is an angst in the notes that are played. I adore my flutes, but they will have to take a backseat in preference to my Earthtone flute as it is definitely now my flute of choice. To add one more point- new therapies are being introduced in the field of medicine- I have seen commercials lately of light therapies being introduced and used successfully in veterinary clinics. Sound therapy is not far behind. My hope is that Odell or someone working with him makes contact with people working in the sound therapy community as I think the 432Hz tuning standard is a key or missing link that will help bring healing to others.

I stumbled on a video of Inka Gold and that was all it wrote yes I am a very beginner in playing any instrument however I very much love sounds,tones and music.This prompted me to first get a panflute and as the saying goes you get what you pay for panned out just like that I bought a south american wall ornament. Lesson learned ,than I turned to the Native American flutes and after much trial and error I chose the Little Hawk in a key of A. It was like jump starting a car that hasn't been running for awhile.BRRRRRRMM BRRRRRM.High spirit flutes is what a Harley Davidson is to a motorcycle. I can not praise the company and Odell enough. I will give a follow up when my new flute gets here. I'm so excited and I just can't hide it.

I used to play the piano when I was a kid and tried my hand at guitar/violin, but realized I'm not meant to be a musician. Years later I hear the sound of the Native American flute for the first time and it sounds so peaceful, so beautiful. I realized that this was the instrument I needed to learn. Since hearing it I wanted to get a flute in my hands to play immediately. After looking over all the wonderful High Spirits flutes, I decided on this one, because it sounded the most pleasant to my ears. So far as a beginner I've already learned a lot and I love this flute! Highly recommend it to anyone. The craftsmanship is superb and the sound is amazing. Thank you!

Having 3 other High Spirits 440hz flutes that I love I thought I'd try one 432hz flute just to hear and feel the difference. I bought a High Spirits Gm Earthtone in Walnut and I'm so glad I did. This flute has the most beautiful tone with an ultra smooth clear voice. The edges of the sound feel slightly rounded giving a smooth tone that really works well in a Native style flute. For me, it's sound invokes feelings of deep peace & relaxation conducive to healing. I absolutely love this flute and now call it my medicine flute. I'm now in love with 432hz tuning.

I'm not the best flute player anyone will ever hear. That said, I do know a good flute when I hear one. Mine is walnut, and visually stunning. The sound is... I'm trying to find the words. The sound is rich, haunting and beautiful. My playing could be improved upon, and since I can barely put it down, maybe it's just the thing to do it. If not, I'll press on anyway, just for the joy of it.

As stated in a earlier review I received my new flute last saturday and it hasn't left my hands since. I am very happy with it and it brought new meaning to life. I am a Man of many hobbies( too many) and this has put the icing on my cake. Thank you High Spirits and of course Odell. I am currently making my own flute stands since woodworking is another one of my passions. Thanks again .

This is my first 432hz Flute. It is beautifuly sounding and easy to play. The wood is gorgeous and the rainbow moonstones are like little lights. This is my second High Spirits Flute, I have a few other makers but I must say these are top notch!

I just got this and love it. Perfectly crafted, lovely tones, and is actually easier to play than my older Kestral. I like to play while out hiking and this will be my new constant companion.

VERY easy to play it is possible to “hit” high notes with no problem. Excellent workmanship. You cannot go wrong with a High Spirits product.

This flute is beautifully made with a nice sound. I was worried it wouldn’t get here on time but it did amd I love t!!
