Huge sound in such a lightweight flute. I own over a dozen High Spirits flutes now and this has always been one of my favorites. A gorgeous look and very easy to play. Thank you High Spirits just for being around.

I already had 3 High Spirits basic flutes before purchasing this Northwest Spirit flute. I was looking for a cedar in F# and the beautiful theme of this flute caught my eye. Thought I would investigate the Signature (sound) series. I only have a G, A and high C for comparison but I have to say that from the first breath I am impressed with the amplitude this super lightweight flute produces. It also plays softly though. That is not so easy to achieve in one flute. Compared to the basic flutes I have this one does have very clear and crisp notes. Even though the finger holes are a little bigger due, I think, to the bore size, they are close together and the flute plays very easily. There is nothing not to like here. I am a believer in the Signature series. If you can afford a little extra, I would go for it.
