Lover of All Things Beauty

This comes in a nice outer product box. It is made in Italy. Ingredients are listed on it. It is cruelty free (leaping bunny certified), gluten free, and vegan. It’s in a really nice tube. Its thick plastic tube with a clear frosted bottom and a white top. It has a nice look and feel to it. Doesn’t feel or look “cheap” at all. Being a “dewy” blush, I honestly wasn’t expecting it to be too pigmented. Boy was I wrong! First, the doefoot applicator is one of those chubby ones. So, it picks up quite a lot of product when taking it out of the tube. I did 1 dot of it on my arm to take a photo for a swatch and swiped it with my finger and used what was left on my finger to blend out some to show the color more sheered out. I was able to do all that with just 1 TINY dot from the applicator! I got the shade “Inner Glow,” which was described as “pink.” It looked like a neutral possibly neutral leaning cool toned pink. I’m very fair with very cool undertone and muted skin. It’s hard to find good blush shades that work well with my cool toned skin. Anything with even a little warmth will look even warmer on my very cool toned skin. With pinks, that usually means they’ll end up looking anywhere from peach to orange to red (depending how much warmth they have). This definitely ends up leaning SLIGHTLY warm, but not too warm where it turned into a peach, orange, or red on me. It looks like a true pink when applied, just a slightly warm toned pink. I wish it didn’t have the warmth it has, but I still really like it. For use, this says “for a natural look” to apply a small dot on the back of your hand using to doefoot applicator. Then apply it to your cheeks using brush/sponge/fingers building up the color to desired pigment. I always usually apply some to the back of my hand and pick it up with my brush, disperse the product evenly on my brush, then apply it to my cheeks. It’s always been the best way for me to apply it and have more control on how much I apply and it always seems to blend out better. But, most brands suggest applying it directly onto the face using the doefoot applicator. So I was surprised when I read the use instructions for this and it actually said to apply it to the back of your hand. I liked they said that. It’s definitely the way to go with this in my opinion! At least until you figure out exactly how much you like to apply. This blends out really easily. Being dewy, I was a little worried it would lift my foundation up some. But, I didn’t have that issue at all. It also applied over my set foundation really well (I don’t set it with powder, but I do let it dry down before applying blush to try to cut down on my foundation being lifted when applying a liquid blush). For testing purposes, I did also try this after applying powder to set my face and it worked really well on top of powder as well! It builds up easily too. It’s really pigmented so I don’t need much. But, it’s easy to get a natural look like they said when picking the product up from the back of my hand. If you want it to be even more “natural” looking and are worried about it being too pigmented, you can use a damp sponge instead of a brush or apply it with a brush and then go over it with a damp sponge to lessen it if you feel like it’s too much, but I found I never needed to do that with this blush. I was able to get good pigment where it showed nicely without looking like it was too much. It spreads out and blends in well, so even though it seems really pigmented at first, it’s really easy to work with! This has really great lasting power. It stayed all day long without fading much. I still saw it at the end of the day when I went to remove my makeup! I really like this! The formula is beautiful. It feels like a high end formula, and it should for the price! I thought it was pretty pricey when I first saw it, especially because I never heard of the brand and I’m a BIG makeup lover so I know a lot of the more known and not-so-well-known brands. But, it’s made in Italy (where a lot of higher quality makeup products are made). It has good ingredients. It has nice packaging. A little goes a LONG way so this will last a while! I hope they come out with more color options that will work for my cool toned skin. I’d definitely pick them up (like a lavender or purple!). If you’re looking for a high quality, easy to work with liquid blush, I’d recommend this!

This Sonela Blissful Moment Dewy Liquid Blush in Coastal Zen (Coral) is a liquid blush with a sponge applicator. It’s a thicker liquid formula (not runny) that agrees well with my dry, sensitive, mature (55+) skin. It’s fragrance free and hasn’t caused any irritation or issues. The formula contains some oils and is hydrating, but it doesn’t feel or look oily or greasy. I apply this blush after my liquid foundation (or after my moisturizer if not wearing foundation), and it spreads well and is easy to blend. It doesn’t settle into or accentuate my fine lines and has a smoothing effect instead. I don’t notice any color transfer once blended. I need to blend this blush quickly to ensure even coverage and diffuse the color so it’s not as intense looking. The Coral shade is super bright (almost neon) and highly pigmented. It looks more like a spring or summery shade to me, but wearing it is more about how it works with skin color and hue. This shade seems most flattering for darker skin. My skin is pale though I have an olive hue. This isn’t a shade I’d normally wear, but it looks better than expected so long as I apply just a few tiny dots. The Coral color looks too intense on me when first applied, but when it’s well blended it looks nice and doesn’t look unnaturally bright on me. The color is buildable, long lasting and non streaky. While a different color would suit my pale skin more, the bright Coral color is more wearable and flattering than expected and I love the formula. 5 stars. Made in Italy.

Been using this gloss for about 3 weeks and it’s become my everyday go-to. The texture hits that sweet spot - not sticky or goopy but still has enough staying power to last through coffee breaks. The applicator is well designed, picks up just the right amount of product and makes it easy to get a precise application even without a mirror. Really appreciate the clean ingredient list and sustainable packaging - the aluminum container feels luxe and it’s nice knowing it can be recycled. The formula glides on smoothly without any weird taste or scent. Works great alone for a natural look or layered over lipstick for extra shine. Found it doesnt feather or bleed outside my lip line like some glosses do. The shine level is perfect - gives a nice glow without looking like plastic wrap on your lips. One thing to note is that it’s a bit thinner than traditional glosses but that actually makes it more comfortable for all-day wear. No issues with it getting gunky in the corners of my mouth. Really like how it doesnt dry out my lips even with frequent reapplication. The size is perfect for carrying in small purses or pockets. Only wish it came in a few more shade options though the current ones are versatile. The packaging keeps the product fresh without any separation or consistency changes.

This is a veryluxurious lip gloss, enriched with a blend of highly beneficial ingredients such as shea butter, avocado oil, and hyaluronic acid, all of which provide deep hydration. The formula also includes some less common but equally impressive ingredients like guarana, which is known to enhance lip plumpness, ginseng, which supports natural collagen production, and prickly pear, which soothes and shields lips from environmental stressors. To be hones, I was initially put off by the vanilla scent, but to my surprise, it fades quickly and becomes nearly undetectable. The texture is typical of a lip glos and you’ll notice a subtle minty tingling upon application. Despite this sensation, the gloss feels incredibly comfortable on my sensitive lips and lasts for a considerable amount of time. The color is another standout. In the bottle, it appears as a rosy mauve, but on my lips, it transforms into a delicate light berry shade that looks both natural and flattering. I find this particular hue to be neutral enough to complement a variety of skin tones. While the price point may seem high, it's important to note that this product comes from an Italian luxury brand, so the premium cost is understandable. I like this gloss so much that I would definitely consider purchasing additional shades as soon as they become available.

This is a VERY highly pigmented liquid/cream blush. You only need the tiniest amount if you have fair skin. I put on way too much at first and had to wash my face. I then used a dot about the size of the head of a pin, and not the kind with a "pearl" on it. That tiny dot was enough for both cheeks, and I still had to go back and blend using a finger with face primer on it to spread it out more. It is that pigmented. I feel like this will dry out in the tube long before I use half of it. The color is beautiful and a true berry. I feel it works better with primer on your skin. I don't wear foundation regularly, so I am not sure how well they work together. I have been wearing this all day, and I still have some color in my cheeks. One of my friends with very dark skin uses a very similar color and it looks fabulous on her, and with all the pigment, the color in this Sonela Blush in Berry should not get lost on darker skin. The little "bottle" comes with a doe foot applicator, but you will regret it if you paint that on your cheeks. Lightly dab your fingertip on it, then quickly blend on cheeks. I would recommend this blush, especially since I am absolutely certain this will last. However, you might have a little learning curve for application at first.

My 2 cents

4 ½ stars rounded up to 5. The Sonela Blissful Moment Dewy Liquid Blush in Coastal Zen (a warm coral) arrived in a branded box that lists ingredients and helpful how to use instructions. There’s no safety seal except the lid over the transparent plastic bottle (it’s pretty and looks like glass), which is made from recycled plastics. I have fair skin. This is my first liquid blush, corals aren’t my usual shade, and this one is very vibrant. However, over a few days I figured out that a small, lightly applied dot to the back of my hand, quickly applied with a large, dense brush and a light touch, was enough to achieve a more natural look on both cheeks. Less is definitely more here. I had to be careful not to over apply or it was obviously too much on my skin, but with a very light touch this works for me. 4 stars for the color on me. The bottle hasn’t leaked (I’ve purposely left it on its side), and the applicator worked well (I removed the excess against the side of the bottle before lightly applying the dot). The ingredients are excellent, and my acne-prone, combination skin hasn’t had any issues. It’s vegan and cruelty free. 5 stars for the product. An icon states the blush should be good for at least 12 months. Made in Italy.

I received this yesterday and tried it today because I've been wanting to try a blush that has a deeper berry tone to it and this looked pretty. At first, I thought it would be WAY too dark for my pale complexion. If I didn't follow the instructions to put it on my hand first and to then apply to my cheeks with a brush or fingers, it definitely would have made me look like a clown, but by doing that, I was able to apply it lightly enough that it adds some color without making me look crazy. You need to use it lightly so with that being said, it's a lot of blush in the container for as little as needed for it to show up. It's been about 7 hours since I applied it and it is still noticeable. It hasn't irritated my very sensitive skin so far. Overall, I'd recommend as a much more affordable option than many of the other popular liquid blushes out there. I plan to experiment with applying it before my CC cream or in different ways to give me that pretty flushed blush look that a lot of K-beauty idols have. Glad I tried it!

I was initially puzzled about how an unfamiliar brand could justify such a high price for a single blush. After some digging, I discovered the company is a luxury beauty brand from Italy, often regarded as a gold standard for beauty and luxury skincare. I was impressed to learn their products are plant-based, featuring clean ingredients like guarana, ginseng, prickly pear adaptogens, hyaluronic acid, jojoba oil, Vitamin E, and shea butter. They also use sustainable packaging, which is a big plus. The lip plumper itself feels lovely on the lips, providing hydration without being overly sticky. It offers a subtle touch of color and a slight tingle, with noticeable, though modest, plumping effects. While I expected a more mauve tone, the berry-red hue was still flattering. That said, while it’s a high-quality product, I don’t think I’d personally splurge on it unless it completely wowed me. Overall, it’s a solid option if you’re looking for luxury beauty with clean ingredients and sustainable practices.

I recently tried the SONELA Your Best Self Peptide Light Natural Plump Lip Gloss in the shade Red - Show Stopper, and I am in love! The gloss has a beautiful, rich red color that’s perfect for adding a pop of color without being too bold. It’s not sticky at all, which is a huge plus for me, and it feels super smooth on the lips. One of the standout features of this gloss is how plump and full it makes my lips look. Thanks to the peptide-infused formula, it gives a natural, hydrated appearance and a slight tingle that lets you know it’s working. It also has a lovely, subtle shine that doesn’t feel heavy or greasy. I wore it all day and didn’t need to reapply constantly—it's long-lasting and keeps my lips feeling moisturized. If you're looking for a lip gloss that enhances your lips with a natural plump and gorgeous shine, I highly recommend giving this one a try! It’s perfect for everyday wear or special occasions where you want to stand out.

I was confused how a brand I have never heard of could charge so much for just a blush. I did a little investigating and found out this the company is a luxury beauty brand out of Italy. I was surprised to see how they are described as the gold standard for beauty and luxury skincare. I was surprised how clean the ingredients are. It’s plant based with guarana, ginseng and prickly pear adaptogens, hyaluronic acid, jojoba oil, Vitamin E, and shea butter. Not just that but they have sustainable packaging too. The lip plumper itself is very nice feeling on my lips and adds just a small amount of color. It hydrates without being too sticky . It does have a slight tingle and it did plump the lips some. I expected the color more mauve as it definitely had a bit of a berry red tone to it but I did like the color. I don’t know if I personally would pay this much for a lip plumper that I wasn’t blown away by. Overall it’s a solid beauty product .

It's a good idea to read the instructions which say to put a little on the back of your hand first and then use a brush or fingertip to apply to your cheek. Applying it like the woman in the picture results in a whole lot of blush smeared on your cheek. But when done correctly, it gives a nice natural-looking color to your cheeks that lasts all day. There are a lot of ingredients that are beneficial to your skin, like: hyaluronic acid, jojoba oil, ginseng, vitamin e, etc. The packaging is made of mostly recycled materials and is recyclable. It's vegan, cruelty-free, without parabens, AHAs, sulfates, mineral oil, etc. Needless to say, this company is socially conscious and environmentally friendly, and I respect that a lot. Whether it's worth $36 compared to other similar blushes, I don't know. It's up to you. But I hope more companies follow their example and that they're able to offer more competitive prices sooner than later.

This plumper lip gloss does a good job of smoothing out the lines in my lips and keeping them hydrated. They do not leave my lips dry after they wear off, which is a very good thing. There is some tingling, but not as bad as other plumping lip glosses. The thickness of the gloss is comfortable; it is not too thick nor too thin. But like with all glossy lip glosses, they do not last very long through drinking and eating. I do not notice a significant plumping effect, but they at least smooth out the lines in my lips and make them appear a little bit fuller. I do not think this is any different from my other good quality lip glosses and juicy lip balms. I also am not crazy about this burnished orange color which the description said was red. It is in the red family, but very orange, which I find dated. I would be willing to try out the other colors. I like that this company touts natural ingredients and sustainable packaging.

I am torn here... technically I should give this 3 stars because the plumping factor is just NOT THERE AT ALL. I've tried many a plumper and sometimes they tingle and sometimes they sting like bees and hurt like heck. This one had the lamest tingle that lasted all of maybe 5 minutes. Did it plump? No! So why 4 stars? I like the color, and for me to be satisfied with a lip color, is a tremendous feat. I am quite picky. When I first saw the tube I thought man this is going to be dark, not my cup of tea. I prefer lightly tinted colors. This one was a really nice pinkish color. Not bold at all- perfect, in my opinion. It added a nice shine too. It was slightly sticky, but not like most glosses I've tried. So- if you're really here looking strictly for a plumper- don't bother.... but if you like clean ingredients, a pretty subtle shade, and decently hydrated lips, maybe it is for you.

It looks really thick and opaque when I dabbed it on with the doe foot applicator. I blended it in with a tissue because I didn’t want blush on my fingers. It blended out really well into a cool light pink. It made some of the dry spots of skin extra pink, though. I like the color. It’s dark enough to be about two applications of powder blush with a brush. A little goes a long way. It’s not oily or greasy. I’m pretty sensitive to that kind of thing, but it didn’t bother me at all. It kind of smells like foundation. It’s not sweet or berry like scent (it looks so creamy and cute that it looked like it might). I like it and I like the color a lot, too. It didn’t irritate my skin at all. After a few hours I rubbed at it, and it barely came off on a tissue :) There wasn’t a safety seal but you can tell when it’s been used because blush will get on the rim :)
