Instructions were really hard to follow for set up. In UK couldn't get this to work at all. Trying to pair with JVC 40" led smart fhd android tv Model LT-40CA790 Couldnt find code. I tried to pair with existing JVC remote. Got on off button working but not channel or tv. they both operated the TV channel going in one direction. After an hour I gave up. Watched a video which wasn't too helpful. Mum is 94 and really needs a simple remote. ANY HELP PLEASE

For several years my mother had not been able to pilot the tv due to dementia. The number of buttons were confusing and too small to maneuver. Everything became an even more difficult with the cable controller. I tried other controllers, called the cable company in search for a controller that would work for Mom. I gave this controller a try, it worked and Mom can actually use! The secret sauce with this controller is if you have technical problems (and I always seem to) you can call and get a direct connection to perhaps the kindest most helpful business owner I have ever dealt with- offering up assistance on Saturday and after hours if needed, sending a website explaining certain settings on my TV. INCREDIBLE! Every assisted living facility should have these for their residences!

My Mother-In-Law is legally blind, but still likes TV (she's in her ninties) this works great for her, very pleased.

Bought this for my 93 year old mother in law who was constantly turning off her Dish box and TV accidently. Every time we had to drive 35 miles to fix things. Her TV was also ancient. I purchased a new very cheap small tv (we were replacing her kitchen tv) and the Flipper. Brought them out to her place and turned everything on. My own remote skills stink so I called support and they were right on top of things for me. No recording with multiple options or screaming at a chat bot assistant. Got an actual human, real nice guy who asked me a few questions about the tv and then provided me some guidance and got the remote working. He also sent me a text with a link that allowed me to set the tv so it came on directly to the last channel she was watching as opposed to the confusing smart tv home screen (she doesn't stream). Had my "mom" turn it on and off a few times as well as do the volume and channels, she loved it. It turns the Dish box and the TV on and off with one push of one button. It also changes the Dish box channels. If you have a senior that finds the remote (s) challenging then don't hesitate to buy the Flipper. For that matter I might get one myself. So nice to only deal with three buttons!! Can't thank Dan enough (he sent me the text) for the personal care and service.

My 94 year old mother with early signs of dementia recently moved into a retirement community. The community provided her with cable TV, but the remote control was insane. Every time she tried to watch cable she got lost in all the buttons. Her frustration was obvious and it effected her mood too. At my wits end, I asked ChatGPT if there was such a thing as a simple remote for the elderly. The first suggestion was the Flipper! Whoever designed this remote is doing God's work. It's brilliant, simple and works like a charm. With the Flipper all Mom has to do is press the green button to turn it on, and press the blue button to scroll through the cable channels. Voila! She's got entertainment! I did get stumped trying to program Flipper, but called the support number that came with it. Dan, with Flipper support, answered right away, and talked me through the setup. It took about 5 minutes. Easy peasy.

We located this Flipper remote searching for a simplified way to allow our 90-year old father to enjoy some independence in his TV viewing. We had purchased a new Samsung TV specifically because of our familiarity with the Samsung remote. As good as the Samsung unit is, he was not able to master it. Full disclosure; with instructions supplied with the Flipper I was unable to sync it to the TV to allow the simple up/down function of a small number of favorite channels. I was able to talk thru the issue with Flipper’s customer support person Dan, who went the extra mile and worked out set up issues with the TV that was causing some of my problems.i’ve gone to the staff of my father’s assisted living facility with the suggestion that all residents upgrade to Flippers. Kudos again to Dan on the support end. He is a model for the customer support industry!

This was purchased for my 100 year old mother who was struggling using multiple remotes (e.g. tv, cable box). She was confused by which remote worked which function. This simple remote solved the problem and now I have a happy 100 year old mother and I don't get daily calls on "How do I ....."!

Bought this for my wife’s aging mom who has difficulty with new technology and remotes in general. She only watches 3 different channels. I personally had a tough time syncing the tv up with the remote. Like others have said in the comment section. Very helpful folks. They got it running in like 2 minutes. Works great.

This product is perfect for my father with Parkinson disease and going blind. It's easy for him to use. The customer service (Dan) was very helpful, as I needed some help to program favorites. My experience was very pleasant.

Our Flipper remote arrived yesterday and I couldn't be happier. It's a simple, ergonomic unit that's easy to program and a snap to operate, controlling our LG TV and Spectrum cable box perfectly. It's going to make a big difference for my significant other, who's elderly and has vision problems along with cognitive ones. Purchased this for my 92 year old father for his TV and Cable Box in his senior living facility. There was no way he could maneuver 2 remotes to enjoy his TV. Before he had to turn on TV with TV remote, then click Source to move to cable. Once cable was on, he had to use Cable remote to change channels but use the TV remote to adjust volume. Crazy! And all the buttons on the TV and Cable remotes are so small. The Flipper is a game changer. Everything with 3 easy buttons: On/Off, Volume and Channel. He can now enjoy his TV with any assistance. I read the reviews on how easy this remote is to program, but to actually experience the ease was refreshing. The instructions were a little confusing in how they were written, but once I figured out they were saying to hold the tv or box button till the light goes on and enter the code from the included list, it doesn’t get much easier. I did find that even though both the tv and cable box were turned on at the time, that the power button was doing one then the other. But the fix in the instructions worked instantly. Highly recommend this remote for anyone that gets confused by all the buttons on typical remotes. The only downside is not being able to use the guide to pick your channel. But the neighbor I bought this for wasn’t able to get the power on correctly, so guessing she won’t miss the guide feature.
