Dr. Tim Parker
Radon is a constant issue, and I used to use a service that leaves radon detectors in place for three months, then let me know the result. At $100 per run, this got expensive over time, and I never knew accurate results by month or week. This device solves those issues. The detector is a small cube that can sit anywhere on a shelf, preferably, or anywhere off the floor. It plugs in to a USB power port, and once you add it to your wifi network through an app, it's online and reporting results constantly. The app shows you the latest reading, plus can show you daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly trends. The app is attractive and easy to use.
To test the accuracy, I compared two sets of readings to the older "drop off and leave" tester I was using, and they were within a small margin of error of each other. Which is accurate I can't say, but it doesn't really matter. This sensor lets you sleep at night knowing radon detection is constant, consistent, and easy to leave to do it's job. I am impressed by this sensor, and can highly recommend it.
