I bought this personal alarm for my husband so we both had peace of mind when he was alone. His life style over the years has made him weak and prone to falling and being unbalanced. If i go away for a short time i am not concerned now as i know if he falls he will be contacted and have some one to talk to and assist him. I could not wait until he got assistance from the govt for help in this way so i purchased this myself. It has been a huge relief for me and my husband feels safe knowing there is help not far away. I recently purchased a personal alarm for my mother after finding out that she had chest pains through the night and not wanting to worry anyone late at night. I purchased this device for my 98yr old dad who still lives at home on his own It is such a comfort to know it is just a press of a button to let us know he needs us and exactly where we can find him at any time . My wife and I have been trying to get her mum to get one of these for several years. It took a fall and a hospital stay to finally get her to agree. The device works well, and it is easy for an elderly person to operate. They only need to press the large SOS button. It also has fall detection which is an added safeguard. The customer service provided by Mitch is excellent. All in all, I highly recommend this device.

After having a bit of trouble setting the unit up, it was found that the Aldi Sim purchased for it was incompatible with the unit. Now having a Telstra sim inserted, the unit works as it should. Elderly (93yo) neighbour friend had a fall, broke hip. On floor for two days before I arrived. Mitch talked me through the device and I had it ready for when she arrived home from hospital. She has used it once to contact me when her landline failed and was amazed when I talked to her on the device. A definite life-saving device.

My elderly neighbour, whom I assist, has been able to move out of a nursing home and back into his own home because of the added safety of this fall alarm. Not easy for me to set up, but with online assistance, finally was successful; I think for seniors (I'm 84) the directions need to be a little more simple. Seems to be operating well.
