    Art-shades really came through for us! We had never ordered custom shades before and were honestly a little nervous ordering online. First of all ordering was professional and straight forward. Benji took my order, gave me advice on how best to size my image, what pixel minimum i needed etc - and provided a proof sketch via email for approval before printing. He was also very responsive throughout the process, and it gave me peace of mind to be able to call him with my questions (valance color options etc), as opposed to just dealing with an order via email. Delivery was timely ~3weeks. Quicker than I expected. It arrived very well packaged and was easy to install. It was my first time ordering a printed shade. I love it! The material is a nice canvas that looks durable and easy to clean. The picture came through so well and it brightens up our breakfast area. If i ever need custom shades, I know where to go! Happy customer!!

    This is a second review to an original disappointed review. Benji from Artshades contacted me to see if I wanted the original order redone to be less blurry. I am delighted with the result and would only add the caveat of making sure the image used is very clear and of good quality. The submitted pictures are the blind at night, inside the house and outside. It is also very easy to install. I have received many compliments on it and would certainly order from this company again.

    I received a product that I thought would be perfect and gave it as a gift without seeing it. I was embarrassed to have my recipient discover a blurry image. My embarrassment caused me to react quite angrily in my communication. The owner was uniformly polite and made me whole financially despite it being a special order. In the final communication, I realized that my email significantly degraded his copy of the original photo. I thought all the time I had a super high quality image. As the owner kindly said, "They viewed the interaction as a learning session." They don't need to learn anything about customer service, but I would recommend they use a program that rejects any pictures unfit for such a large size (something like the chain drugstore websites for printing canvases through a local branch). My lessons were to check any presents before giving them, not to act in anger and embarrassment, and lessons can be found anywhere. I was a jerk. The owner was wonderful. I'm sorry.
