Broader base and non- skid surface work very well. Less apt to slip with more surface contact.

I live in MT in the winter I use the spike on ice - hence I lose the tip when Spring rolls around. It's nice to just buy replacement tops!

The tips on the trekking poles I bought at Costco wore out so replaced with these. Fit well and have necessary traction.

The tips are effective on smooth surfaces and allow the sticks more safety on flooring.

They fit tightly on our REI trekking poles. We have been able to put on for hard surfaces and off for dirt and rocky trails.

I think the poles grip a little better with the tips. Also, there is some "cushion" on the sidewalks.
I will know more about quality when I see how long they last.

This is a solid., well constructed cane tip. My cane came with a small pointy tip. It had little grip on smooth surfaces, like tile and tended to sink in any soft ground, The addition of this tip solved the problem nicely. It has broad grippy surface that won't slip or sink in soft ground. I rated this a good buy.

This tips offer just the right grip on pavement. The hit the ground quietly and softly with some shock absorbing. They are light weight and reasonably priced, too.

Easy to remove old tip and replace new one. Stays firmly in place, lasts for months.

It’s nice to have replacements for the tips for my “sticks”. I often take them on and off and they disappear easily. I had lost mine but if course found them as soon as I bought replacements.

Theses are fantastic replacements for the hard rubber tips that come standard on most trekking poles. I use my trekking poles for stability and balance during recovery from foot and knee surgery. The standard round tips can easily slip on hard, smooth surfaces (particularly when wet) and can be a safety hazard. Theses tips are more aligned with what one would find on a walking cane and make a world of difference.
