Easy to put on - had to heat old tips in boiling water and use a pair of pliers to get the old tips removed (twisting), but the new tips work perfectly.

No need for boiling water. Just a crescent wrench to slide down the pole and it pops off.

Boiled the old tips to loosen; removed and popped these on. No fuss, no muss. Haven't taken them to the wood yet, but will do so within the next few weeks for some back-country hiking and camping. They seem to be good tips for the price. I recommend them.
