What a cute Christmas regency book. Felicity and Tad entered into a marriage of convenience and had to navigate their relationship and each other as they had only met the day before their wedding. It was a slow burn of conflicting feeling from both Felicity and Tad, but the thoughtfulness and banter between them was special. I loved that Felicity was able to gain friends in the community and that Tad could find ease as he had married a lady when he himself was just a merchant. The mistletoe part was sweet and glad they both got their HEA with each other. Thank you Author Sally Britton for an arc. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

This book was Christmas magic. It is magical and delightful. Get ready to curl up with a cup of cocoa and be transported to a different time and place.Felicity has just lost her grandmother and is set up with an arranged marriage with Theodore (Tad). She is going to be positive and hope for the best. Tad is extremely nervous because he believes he married a lovely wife who is a station above him. Can they be confident together and make this marriage work, maybe with a little Christmas magic thrown in the mix?Cozy and lovely are the words that I would use to describe this Christmas story. The imagery is vivid and wonderful throughout the entire story. I feel like I am in the snow by the icy pond and enjoying every minute of it. I love Tad and Felicity and their delicate balance between each other and the growth that happens in their marriage throughout the book. One of my favorite quotes: (by Tad)“It sounds to me as though the gentlemen who were aware of you were foolish, selfish creatures. Anyone who met you would know you at once for the treasure you are.”I was given an ARC of this book. All opinions are my own. Thank you to the author!

This was a sugary sweet novella. A marriage of convenience around Christmastime. I enjoyed it and liked the main characters. Some repetitive inner monologue and lacking the last something that brought out the feels. Good for the season with plenty of winter fun.
