I hope by the end of the year to have replaced all my socks with Lindner socks, because of their comfort and durability. I find the Alfred fine knit socks perfect for the warm Sydney climate. Lindner socks are the opposite of fast, throw away fashion. Theyre made by a craftsman who really cares about quality and deserves more recognition as an iconic Australian brand.

I've previously bought the Walter Argyle socks from Linder, which have been fantastic - comfortable and hard wearing - but thought I'd try the Alfred style because they are lighter and pack down better for travel. Really happy with them. Perfectly comfortable and very well made. I've also found the customer service of Lindners to be absolutely first class.

I work as a tradey and good socks are important as good boots. Fed up with the rubbish available elsewhere I decided to go Australian. These socks are very comfortable and I expect they will have a good lifespan compared to the rest. More than anything I am just really happy to buy Australian. Love your work Linder!

Purchased the Alfred socks in three colours as I had purchased socks previously. I like socks as they are a fine knit and not too bulky. Very warm, good quality and long lasting.

Size was correct, very comfortable, washed well and dye did not run. Will be ordering more in the future. Initially ordered two sizes to make sure of the correct size.

Lovely warm sock , maybe a little short . I was looking for a sock to wear with ankle high boots . I will buy the mid calf Pejar next - when it comes back into stock .

I was looking for socks to wear to work - sometimes on my feet for most of a 10 hour shift. These are great so far - hoping they last as other reviewers have noted.

The Alfred Socks are a good fitting & hard-wearing sock, my second purchase. Although I did go for a smaller size the second time so as to get a tighter fit.

These are quality socks that are my go to for dress boots and shoes. I used to get sweaty feet wearing cheap socks that didn't allow my feet to 'breathe'.

I like these socks because they are comfy, great quality, look nice and remind me of the the good old days in the southern tablelands

Good to find quality Australian (high %) Merino wool sock. Use them as a Summer work sock. No sweat or smell.
