I am a small builder with two employees up on the north coast of NSW at Maclean on the Clarence River. I have just bought my first lot of Lindner socks recently ( Six pairs) 3 lots of different colours. I have tried Bamboo but never really happy. So I have given these socks a go. They are wool, They are a family owned Australian business & we need to support Aussies & the dreams that make this place Australia. Its been hot up here like a lot of places & these socks have been absolutely superb to work in all day. I have just about completed 41 years of work in the building trade, so yeah I am getting to be an old bugger. My feet have never been so happy after a days work. I don't know if I can wind the clock back for age, but these Lindner socks might carry me a fair way yet. I thought I would possibly burn in them with the heat, but you get to a certain temperature in your shoe & it is really so surprising. I am looking forward to the colder months even more so. I recently purchased a pair of "Max Thick Merino" socks to see if they would meet my needs for durability and warmth while navigating the concrete jungle of the city. I’m thrilled to say they exceeded my expectations! The quality of these socks is outstanding, and it was a pleasure to inspect the craftsmanship that went into making them. They fit my feet perfectly, especially since I opted for a size up from the suggested chart for a looser fit, which I absolutely love. I tested them with various footwear, including casual sneakers, and experienced no discomfort at all. After putting them through their paces, I washed the socks by turning them inside out and tossing them in with my regular laundry. I used a small amount of laundry liquid and set my washing machine to the "delicates" cycle with cold water and a gentle spin at 400 RPM. Once the wash cycle was complete, I inspected the socks, and they came out looking great! Now, they’re drying in the shade on my balcony-garden, accompanied by the cheerful sounds of chirping birds. I’m so pleased with my experience that I’ll definitely be purchasing more of these fantastic socks!

I initially placed an order (after seeing Lindner Socks segment on Better Homes & Gardens) for just the one pair of Max Thick Merino socks for my son to see if he liked them. He is very fussy about socks. He is NSW Driver Trainer for a large transport company/heavy haulage, so his socks get quite a workout. He said they are the best socks he has ever worn. So comfortable. He loved them so much we placed another order for the 7 pack bundle. He wears the socks everyday and they more than live up to the product description. My son has said he wouldn't bother buying any other sock brand and more importantly, we need to support small Australian companies when they manufacture products superior to the cheap imports. I admit I was wary when I first discovered these socks online. Is is true or is it just spin? Then I watched the how to videos and thought there is no way anyone would provide this extremely practical and useful information in person unless they really believed in their product. True to their word, the socks fitted perfectly after the first wash. My wife and I haven't been bushwalking for years yet after a 16 klm, very up and down coastal hike, not one blister to be found. The socks didnt move in our boots and were sooooo comfortable, I didnt want to take them off at our overnight camp! We could not be happier with our purchase so thank you Lindner for continuing to be Aussie made and using proven, years old manufacturing machines and techniques. Cheers Ross n Anne H

I have trying so many socks, never found anything that was worth what I paid for it. When I reviewed all feedback for Linder Max socks, I could not believe the 5 star ratings and the praise it received. I confidently ordered 3, and must say They are the best socks ever. Comfortable, good fit, and thick. In fact I once on I don’t take them off. At times it’s hard to know you are wearing them. I wear mine with my hiking boots, which I use for my walks and Gym workouts. Not buying anything else now. I expect these to last a long time, so in the long run they will be much cheaper to own.

I bought my first two pairs of the Max thick wool socks to try after watching a segment on a lifestyle TV show. And thought, they had better be good for the price I've just paid. A few weeks after they arrived, I ordered my next pair. They are very comfortable and worth every cent I paid for them. I spend a couple of hours every work day constantly on my feet, in steelcap boots. This is the most temperature controlled my feet have ever been. I have switched from cotton socks to wool socks and won't go back now. These socks are fantastic.

Recently purchased three pairs for work and was immediately impressed with the quality of these socks. I then managed to damage them through my own foolishness and contacted Lindner for advice. Received a phone call the very next day with a solution. Happy with my socks I then ordered another three pairs for my daughter in a smaller size. Lindner phoned to ask if this was correct or had I made a mistake with my order. I was blown away by such personal service. If the socks hold up over time I will not wear any other brand. Love them

I purchased 2 pair of thick work socks after reading about them in a farm related blog. I bought them initially to support an Aussie business, but they are the most amazing socks ever! I have worn them doing a solid days work for hours in cattle yards in work boots and it feels like walking on an air cushion. Also worn them horse riding for hours and feel great in riding boots too. No foot odour either! I will be buying more for myself and as Christmas presents for family, definitely value for money.

G'day Lindner team, Today I tried my new thick merino socks in my work shoes, for about 6 hours wear. The socks provide a lot of support & comfort, like a shock absorber for your feet. Plus they seem to breathe better than the bamboo socks I had been using. So, my first impression is that your merino socks are a quality product. I had read about Lindner products & finally took the plunge. Well worth it! Wearing Max socks is like a religious experience. Great quality & unbelievably comfortable. I will definitely be back for more from across the Lindner product range. Service was excellent - including a phone call (from Lindner - not from a call centre) from my email enquiry! I have no issue supporting a small Aussie business who product quality & service ethos is like this.

I had heard of Lindner socks and decided to give them a try as I always try to buy Australian wool. I have now had a pair of Max thickness loose knit top socks for 2 years and they do not look like wearing out. In contrast thick woolen socks I purchased at the same time from the Bendigo sheep show now have large holes in each big toe. My Lindner socks have been everywhere most often used for hiking and golf and I am amazed how good they are still.

Was skeptical at first of paying $40 for a pair of socks. I was also a bit worried about the socks not fitting properly as my size lies exactly between S and M. Went with size M and it fits perfectly well. Tip: if your size is also on the borderline, go with the larger size. As for the socks themselves, they are VERY very comfortable to wear. Perfect for Melbourne winters! Will order more for friends, family, and myself :D

I where steel caps every day these socks are the best I have had by far. Yes they are expensive but worth every cent my 10 hour day ends and my feet feel great. I have even taken them off the line in the morning and they are damp from due and you but them on and they are dry in ten minutes. I have bought now three lots have 10 pears for when I can't get the washing done. And last lot was for mother's Day mum loves them.

So after having read various comments, I purchased two pair of socks and as promised they arrived pretty quick.Did the pre wear wash and so far they are pretty good and comfy. Went for the next size up as I'm on the end of the size scale before and they shrunk a little to end up just right. I'm pretty sure these socks will outlast any other types I've previously worn and look forward to many wears of these sockies.

I think I have tried every pair of socks in the regular shops for my husband who has a narrow foot and needed a thick sock to fill out his boots. He has been wearing two of the thickest pairs I could find and it hasn't been working well for him. Bought a pair of Linder socks to try out and they have been perfect for his needs so on here to get another couple as they take a bit long to dry as we hand wash them.
